The role of Manager, NOC Escalation & Incident is a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management and resolution of critical incidents and escalations within the NOC. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire incident lifecycle, from identification and assessment through to resolution and post-incident review. Your proactive approach and strategic mindset will be essential in minimizing the impact of incidents on our operations and ensuring a swift return to normal business operations.

Incident Identification and Triage

  • Monitor various channels and systems to promptly identify and assess incidents.
  • Classify and prioritize incidents based on their severity and potential impact on business operations.

Incident Response and Resolution

  • Lead the incident response process, coordinating efforts across relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Implement predefined incident response procedures to contain and mitigate the impact of incidents.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among internal teams and external partners to expedite incident resolution.

Post-Incident Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct thorough post-mortem reviews of incidents to identify root causes and contributing factors.
  • Generate detailed incident reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for preventing similar incidents in the future.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to implement corrective actions and preventive measures based on incident analysis findings.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance incident management processes, tools, and capabilities.
  • Drive initiatives to improve incident response times, minimize downtime, and increase overall resilience.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders during incident response efforts, providing regular updates and ensuring transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, security, and business units, to align incident management activities with organizational objectives.

NOC Operations Management:

  • Lead and supervise the NOC team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure effective performance.
  • Establish and enforce operational procedures and protocols to maintain 24/7 coverage and response readiness.
  • Oversee shift scheduling, staffing levels, and resource allocation to meet operational requirements.

Network Monitoring and Incident Response:

  • Monitor the performance and health of network infrastructure, including telecommunications, data networks, and related systems.
  • Respond promptly to network incidents, outages, and alarms, initiating troubleshooting and resolution efforts to minimize service disruptions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external service providers, and emergency response agencies to expedite incident resolution and restore service.
  • Manage escalations and assist in issue/ticket prioritization for technicians.
  • Build strong relationships with operations, customer care, engineering, sales and management, as well as establishing meaningful relationships with key external vendors and clients.
  • Foster an environment of knowledge sharing within the NOC and all Sinch personnel.
  • Complete alternate assignments as required.
  • Provide training as necessary.
  • Meet or exceed company defined KPI’s.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in incident management, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • In-depth understanding of incident management frameworks, such as ITIL or NIST.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make timely decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with incident management tools and systems.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role, with demonstrated ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Highly proficient in MS Software application, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proven experience in network operations, preferably in a mission-critical or emergency services environment.

As our new Fullstack Developer you will:

  • Be heavily involved in turning user stories into code. This is a hands-on code design and coding role!

SEARCH has an opportunity for a Contract Administrator to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest professional standard for our clients, co-workers, media, and general public.
  • Assume Contracts Specialist duties on existing and new corporate contracts and agreements.
  • Refine and maintain corporate contracts and agreements master list.
  • Review and analyze master list to identify data gaps, expired/expiring contracts or agreements, and remedy issues.
  • Serve as a contractual point of contact on corporate contracts and agreements to clients, SEARCH Management, and SEARCH Project Managers.
  • Refine and maintain standardized corporate agreements for SEARCH to execute.
  • Review and analyze new corporate contracts and agreements and/or changes and modifications to existing contracts and agreements, and provide recommended changes, updates, additions, and deletions to Management and/or items to be negotiated.
  • Provide advice/recommendation and interpretation of contract requirements, obligations, and risk exposure to the Principals and leadership team.
  • Modify and negotiate new contracts, agreements, and/or changes and modifications to existing contracts and agreements on behalf of Management.
  • At the Proposal level and prior to contract award, review contract terms and conditions for completeness and consistency with company standards.
  • Monitor and manage contract and agreement timelines, appropriate budget estimate sheets, and contract reporting requirements such as monthly status reports to the Client and Management.
  • Oversee new contract and agreement execution and contract close-out procedures.
  • Provide contract and agreement information and specifications to applicable Project Managers, proposal developers, and Management.
  • Provide contract/teaming narratives and data applicable for marketing, proposals, and data calls.
  • Provide support and training to the Project Managers and Principal Investigators in regards to the contracts they are performing.
  • Identify and independently resolve complex problems related to contract language, procedures, and practices.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of Project Managers to ensure compliance with contract/agreements terms and company policies.
  • Work with Project Managers weekly/monthly to evaluate job cost metrics to ensure that projects are on schedule and on budget.
  • Comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), FAR supplements, and other Government contracting issues for applicable contracts.
  • Prepare independent contractor agreements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
  • Master’s degree in business administration is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of proven contract experience.
  • Strong understanding of Time and Material (T&M), Cost Plus, and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contracts.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal contracting, the Federal Acquisition Regulations, and Department of Defense contracting principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Position Information

SEARCH is seeking a Principal Investigator to support in driving the success of projects and staff in the Southwest region of the United States.

Successful candidates will have a background in cultural resource management and experience managing archaeological projects. The candidate should have excellent technical writing skills and the ability to produce reports for review by subject matter experts on behalf of federal, state, and tribal agencies under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and the National Environmental Policy Act, among other historic preservation laws/regulations.

The position responsibilities include coordinating field, research, and lab tasks, as well as report preparation; working with the crew to ensure fieldwork is executed in a timely fashion and meets the applicable standards; writing high quality technical reports; quality control/assurance of technical reports; managing project staff; and coordinating the development of project Health & Safety plans. The candidate should be detail-oriented and organized, work well with others, and be able to work efficiently on simultaneous projects under tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment, and the ability to travel are critical to the position.

This is a full-time salaried position that may be either be remote or office-based, depending on the candidate’s location and preference. In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide expertise regarding field strategies, research, and regulatory requirements at the state, regional, and federal levels;
  • Prepare research designs and build research teams;
  • Oversee research, fieldwork, data analysis, report preparation, and other tasks to ensure that the research goals, budgets, schedules, and contract requirements of each project are met;
  • Recommend and deploy state-of-the-art technology and methodology;
  • Serve as the primary author and researcher on technical reports;
  • Ensure research quality, research integrity, and original authorship of all project deliverables;
  • Prepare research articles, papers, and presentations for academic and industry venues;
  • Conduct field visits and occasional archaeological fieldwork;
  • Develop project proposals, cost estimates, and schedules;
  • Train and mentor archaeologists and report authors;
  • Maintain the highest professional standards;
  • Maintain strong project team relationships;
  • Develop and manage agency and client relationships;
  • Communicate project developments to the project team, company leadership, and clients; and
  • Support other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

  • Master’s degree in Anthropology or related field;
  • Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience encompassing time in field, laboratory, and office;
  • Must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualifications standards for archaeology and be an RPA or be eligible to become an RPA;
  • Expertise in state and federal laws and guidelines governing cultural resources management;
  • Demonstrated ability to support projects in a timely and cost-effective manner;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; and
  • Based in southwestern, U.S.


Qualifications Preferred:

  • Strong Texas based archaeological experience.
