Job Description
Identity & Fraud (ID&F) is one of the most vibrant business units of Decision Analytics, currently undergoing the most remarkable Digital Transformation across its product line-up. It is a particularly exciting and pivotal time for ID&F as we begin decomposing several applications into microservices and deploying them into the cloud.
What you will be doing:
- As an ID&F Software Engineer – client facing, you will be part of a high-performance engineering team that delivers the product backlog of ID&F’s market-leading Identity Services platform
- ·Working independently in collaboration with architects and domain leads to drive excellence and focus on the detail of projects like performance optimization, cloud migration
- ·Delivering integrations between our platforms and UIs delivered both internally and externally
- You will be the technical face of Experian, guiding clients in integrating to our software and incorporating 3rd party APIs into their sites to make the most of our services.
Qualifications
What you will bring:
- Proficient English - both verbal and written
- BSc Science or Engineering degree.
- Experience in building high-performance microservices
- Ability to work in an agile environment using a Scrum approach
- Professional experience with Jira & Bitbucket, Docker & Kubernetes
- Considerable experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of building mission-critical, high-volume transaction web-based software systems, preferably in regulated environments (finance and insurance industries)
- Great communication and influence skills to shape and contribute to the outcomes across distributed groups
- Strong work ethic and willingness to ‘go the extra mile to adhere to deadlines and team commitments
- Extensive knowledge of multiple technology stacks and languages including some of the following technologies and software engineering best practices:
- RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API (.NET Core) and Java
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
- SOLID Principles
- Software Design Patterns like Adapter, Decorator, Facade and Factory patterns.
- Test-Driven Development (xUnit.Net, NUnit)
- Open API / Swagger
- Source Code Management tools (Git, Bitbucket)
