Summary:
We are searching for a Director of EdTech sales to join the team at Securly, a leading EdTech company trusted by thousands of schools in the USA and across the globe. The Director of Sales will report to the CRO and be responsible for a team of new account executives and regional sales managers in the Western half of the US. In addition, they will continue building a sustainable and robust process to engage school districts, State Departments of Education, and other partners to ensure the adoption of the Securly student wellness platform.
Location: fully remote role.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the new business sales team in the Western US, including customer forecasts, pipeline, and quota-setting processes, along with the development of sales workflows, processes, and critical metric reports
- Onboard, train, and coach the sales team members with objective target setting, performance reviews, and ongoing support to meet and exceed their individual goals.
- Work cross-functionally to support the go-to-mark priorities, including RFPs, proposals, pricing, B2B marketing, and revenue operations.
- Collect customer feedback, and provide recommendations for product development.
- Provide product and business development recommendations to the company management, technology, and production teams.
- Optimize the sales team to deliver high-performing conversion rates through proven experience and leverage quantitative sales data to guide sales conversion improvements.
- Support the sales team in closing deals, assisting with key accounts, and driving business development.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years of consistently achieving quota as a sales team leader for a SaaS EdTech Company
- Proven sales and leadership with a track record in the K-12 market with the top 200 districts as well as large/Mid Sized districts
- They have demonstrated a track record of leadership and talent development, particularly concerning developing sales skills, sales methodology implementation, and sales process.
- A natural coach/teacher who is comfortable consistently providing feedback to your team. You can inspire others.
- Demonstrated success in hiring, training, and developing a high-performing sales team
- Strong Understanding of the K-12 domain and buying intricacies and associated ICPs and their goals in school districts
- SalesForce, Challenger sales methodology is beneficial
- Live within the applicable region in the United States
