Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Associate to join the Deal Desk, part of the Revenue Operations and Go-to-Market Strategy team, to support our sales executives and leaders with contract validation and process optimization.
The Revenue Operations and Go-to-Market Strategy team plays an important role in driving sustainability impact at scale, creating value for our customers and cultivating world class talent. This is achieved by working closely with all levels in the company to help in defining and driving forward strategic, operational and organizational improvements at Ecovadis.
Responsibilities:
- Review structure of contracts and input data to Salesforce
- Partner with sales to ensure data accuracy
- Review deal splits and regional impact
- Be a trusted advisor: meet with the sales organization, communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure deal structure in a compliant manner
- Ensure all non-standard discounts, pricing and contract terms have been approved before deal closure
- Develop a strong understanding of EcoVadis’s pricing models, products, contract structures, quoting systems and business practices.
- Develop process documentation to be maintained by the Deal Desk (2 individuals part of a broader team)
- Constantly look for ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the Deal Desk process.
Qualifications
- You will bring at least 1 year of related experience in Operations and/or Deal Desk functions and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the enterprise sales process - or have a passion to learn
- Strong understanding of quote-to-cash processes and experience with SalesForce and CPQ tools
- Comfortable reading legal contractual language
- You have strong problem solving and analytical skills, able to prioritize and you aren’t afraid to ask questions
- Professional proficiency in the English language is required; French or German is a plus
