Manager, Product Management
Product Management is the voice of the Customer, translating direct feedback into objective and actionable product roadmaps. As part of Product Management, you will collaborate with all areas of the business to ensure our products are useful, usable, scalable and extensible.
Responsibilities
Direct Feedback Gathering
- Actively engage with both internal and external customers to gather direct feedback. This involves conducting interviews, surveys, and focus groups to understand customer needs, preferences, and pain points.
- Utilize this feedback to inform and adjust the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and market demands.
- Work closely with customers and internal stakeholder to gather and prioritize product requirements
Owns Product Vision, Planning, and Roadmap
- Develop and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap, aligning with customer requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize product features and functionality
Collaboration Across Functions
- Work closely with the Director of Product Engineering on feature prioritization, balancing customer needs and business objectives.
- Engage with Sales in client pursuits involving product-based solutions.
- Partner with Marketing to translate product backlogs into marketing-ready roadmaps, developing product positioning and messaging strategies.
- Coordinate with Delivery to gather product feedback from existing customers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Partnerships to obtain product feedback from Partner AEs and solution architects.
Strategic Influence
- Conduct market research and analyze customer feedback to identify emerging trends and customer needs, which can be incorporated into future product development
- Actively contribute to the company's overall strategy and long-term goals.
- Influence cross-functional strategic planning.
- Owns external evangelism of products
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics to related field
- 5 years of experience in product management or leading product management
- Expertise in product management and product development life cycles
- Experience in product strategy development and road mapping tools
- High-level modern technical and product knowledge
- Understanding of user experience and user research tools
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both in writing and speaking, essential for internal and external interactions.
Salary Range
Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $135.5k – $173.6k USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
