UX Designer - Language Design (REF2382D)
Coming from a monolithic application landscape as baseline, Telekom Deutschland already made good progress in selected Greenfield areas like Fiber (“Gigabit Geschäftssystem”) and on decoupling the legacy backend landscape from fast-moving touchpoints with a basic set of German E-APIs. While the foundation of the transition is being laid, the need to accelerate and scale up these initiatives has become obvious to leverage the beforementioned advantages for the business.
The transformation, compared to simply evolving the Telekom Germany IT Strategy, is consisting of 3 new aspects:
1. Instead of so far driving the decoupling focused on the German organization, it is a clear goal of Telekom Deutschland to initiate the initiative as a joint program for all European Telekom locations. This will make the Magenta API a common northbound API layer for multiple, cross-European touchpoints for both sales and service, providing true omnichannel capabilities. Hence, we are now facing the challenge to:
2. A certain set of functionalities will be defined as central Digital Services, partly delivered by EU, DTDL and Telekom Germany. This set is not ready defined, and neither are the delivering instances
3. Beside the alignment on M-API Specifications and central Digital Services, the 3 touchpoints (oneAPP, oneShop, MaVi) will be aligned for EU and Germany as well, meaning:
