As a Principal Account Executive you will bring our AdRoll product to upper-mid market direct-to-consumer brands in the United States market. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, foster long-term partnerships, and drive revenue growth through innovative solutions. With a focus on client success, your expertise will be instrumental in navigating complex challenges, delivering exceptional service, and exceeding expectations. This role is a highly visible one, as you’ll report directly to our Senior Director of Global Sales.

- Spearheading New Business Initiatives: Lead the identification, pursuit, and acquisition of new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and expanding the company's client base.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate and nurture relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and industry influencers to create strategic partnerships that enhance the company's market presence and reputation.
- Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by effectively pitching products or services to prospective clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals, thereby contributing directly to the company's financial success.
- Market Expansion: Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to develop tailored sales strategies that capitalize on new business opportunities and drive market expansion.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of new business initiatives, optimize client satisfaction, and drive long-term business success.
- Thought Leadership and Innovation: Serve as a thought leader within the industry, staying abreast of market developments, industry best practices, and innovative solutions to continuously enhance the company's offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Skills you’ll bring:
- This position requires that you can be available for calls with clients based in the US
- 8+ years experience in a full-cycle outbound sales role (including prospecting, lead nurture, and contract negotiation)
- Strong communication skills and experience either selling programmatic advertising or deep knowledge of a marketer’s pain points
- You’re a true “hunter” with a track record of smashing your quota through prospecting, nurturing, and closing
- You’re a consultative salesperson with an ability to bring in deals with longevity
- You approach your work with a positive outlook, a “growth mindset”, and have an ability to adapt to a changing environment
- You have shown grit in difficult situations - the combination of passion and perseverance
