About the Role:
Hims & Hers is looking for a Consumer Communications Manager. The ideal candidate is a media maven who has a pulse on current trends and cultural conversations. We are looking for someone with a rolodex of consumer media contacts who loves to create and pitch stories. This person will be a creative storyteller who can take complicated subject matter and make it easy and fun for consumers to understand. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making an immediate impact in the organization and growing the Hims & Hers brand through industry defining relationships.

- A creative storyteller who can mine for stories within the business and turn them into culturally relevant stories externally.
- Curious about the world of telehealth and how it can make the world a better place.

- A team player but also a self starter.
- A whiz with Google, Cision, Meltwater and Figma.
You Will:
- Understand consumer trends and how to leverage them to tell stories on behalf of Hims & Hers.
- Develop and support all PR programs for the communications function, inclusive of reporting, daily clips, subscriptions, etc.
- Become an expert in the telehealth space to informatively work with Hims & Hers content writers, spokespeople and external media.
- Develop and foster relationships both internally with business partners and externally with media and industry experts.
- Be accountable for planning, prioritizing, and executing on multiple projects at a time and take accountability for the success of all programs.
- Work well under pressure and maintain strong communication with your cross-functional team.
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in Consumer PR or Communications preferred.
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Strong news and strategy judgment and ability to execute quickly.
- Self-motivated, fast learner, and strategic thinker; able to achieve high impact in a fast-paced or ambiguous environment.
