As part of the Hims & Hers Public Policy Team (Government Relations) the Director, Government Affairs will help lead the expansion of our compounding-focused advocacy at the state and national levels. The Director will help build and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders such as state pharmacy/pharmacist-focused trade associations and coalitions, state Boards of Pharmacies, and state-level lawmakers and regulators. A focused, prioritized set of states will be assigned. 

 

The Director will also help build and expand our political giving (e.g. PAC) and external communications capabilities. The candidate will have a background in state government affairs, political giving strategy and execution, and trade association and coalition engagement. The position will report to the Vice President of Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

You Will:

  • Draft and design collateral such as talking points, outside primary and secondary data/research re: compounding, one-pagers, committee hearing testimony, and response letters on a variety of topics that educate the public, key audiences, and legislators about policy matters
  • Maximize engagement with state-level trade associations and coalitions, ensuring they’re supporting our advocacy goals and that we’re maximizing thought leadership opportunities
  • Represent the company at external events and meetings, including direct lobbying of relevant state-level  lawmakers, and in policy discussions with regulators and state Boards of Pharmacy
  • Manage state-level external consultants and lobbyists
  • Help manage the launch and development of any new compounding-focused coalitions/associations
  • Help manage the company’s evolving political giving and engagement strategy, with a focus on state-level engagement. This may include the management of a corporate PAC
  • Coordinate and track political engagements with external entities and map engagements to key objectives

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Regulatory or relevant field
  • 10+ years working in policy, government affairs, community engagement, or policy spaces, preferably at fast-paced organizations 
  • Experience in state government affairs and trade association engagement
  • Expert communicator with strong writing and editing skills

As the CAPEX and MRO Sourcing Manager, you will  be directly responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand the requirements of our capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and budgeting and establishing relationships with key external partners to bring solutions to the team.   • Establish and maintain redundancy plans and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Own CapEx & MRO supplier relationship management.

  • 6-8 years of Strategic Sourcing work experience, supporting operations/manufacturing/ fulfillment functions.

  • Understanding of operational flows within a facility.

Conditions of Employment:

We are seeking a Manager, Web Content to join our Organic Growth team. In this role, you will support us in evolving our content library by building compelling, informational content & experiences to delight our customers for years to come. You will partner closely with SEO, Editorial, Engineering, Design & Product teams to create and scale content across the Hims.com and Forhers.com websites - primarily for the blog, our Hims & Hers apps, and our YouTube channels.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an accomplished Director of Design Program Management (DPM), who will be pivotal in overseeing and coordinating multiple design programs for both the Industrial Design and Packaging teams. Conditions of Employment:

The Hims & Hers Telemedicine Team is seeking an experienced analyst to enable the team to make data-informed decisions related to marketplace balance and provider operations. Reporting to the Director of Telemedicine Operations, you will utilize data to deliver on a singular goal: Every patient gets access to timely, high-quality healthcare. You will be focused on how providers deliver care to patients, understanding if the right kinds of providers (based on factors like specialty, experience, and state licensure) are working on the platform at any given time, and identifying opportunities to improve marketplace balance.   • 7+ years experience in business intelligence, operations, or business analytics
  • Hands-on proficiency analyzing financial, operational, or marketplace data using tools like Excel, Tableau, or Looker
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills; experience presenting to senior, cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to contextualize data and insights within the business context, collaborating with, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical teammates

The Consumer Communications team is responsible for driving and executing a world class communications strategy to help build brand reputation, increase brand awareness and create trust with our consumers.

  • Leveraging your industry expertise to deliver game changing storytelling for the company.

  • Understanding Hims & Hers business goals and translating them into effective consumer communications strategies, inclusive of developing plans, tactics, programs and reporting back to the function and business on impact. 
  • Cultivating impeccable consumer media and industry relationships, as well as internal relationships across the organization.
  • Being a connector across the business with teams such as marketing, design and content in order to drive alignment and clarity. 
  • Developing communications launch strategies when appropriate for key products. 
  • Developing a range of communication materials including messaging, scripts, press materials and company presentations in partnership with stakeholders internally and externally to position the company and communicate our narrative. 
  • Regularly engage with media and key external stakeholders to inform, educate and protect the brand. 
  • Developing company spokespeople for media engagements.
  • Staying current on news and informing key stakeholders of competitive intelligence and marketplace opportunities and challenges.

You Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, financial and crisis communications with significant experience in fast-paced, consumer-facing, public companies
  • Proven track record of building and advancing groundbreaking narratives, demonstrating strong business momentum
  • Outstanding and concise written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proven ability to manage crisis situations as well reduce risk through effective preparation 
  • Experience executing media campaigns, building relationships with media and working with executives
  • Deep track record working through complex, dynamic organizations
  • Strong media relationships and able to work effectively with external agencies

About the job:

Hims & Hers is seeking an experienced Sr. Software Engineer to help us build the platform used to reliably fulfill customer orders and prescriptions, at scale. As a member of the growing Fulfillment and Pharmacy Engineering Backend team, you will help define, build, test, deploy, and support the platform that delivers self-service capabilities to our partners in the Operations and Pharmacy teams.

Remotely based and reporting into the SVP of Pharmacy Safety, Quality and Compliance, the Director of Quality will be responsible for developing, implementing, evaluating, and maintaining the site Quality systems and leadership of the site’s Quality Assurance & Control systems.  They will ensure the organization’s internally compounded products meet the quality, integrity, and efficacy standards set by the organization.   They are a member of the site leadership who, in partnership with Operations leadership, will champion the creation of a Quality culture which embodies Quality by Design and Continuous Improvement expectations.  Directs all Quality aspects of the company’s compounding sites.  Interfaces with other leadership team members to help set policy and guide adherence to them as well as any applicable state and federal standards from boards of pharmacy, USP, and FDA.  Responsible for the decision on approval and release of all compounded products. Organizational responsibilities include site Quality Assurance, Quality Control documentation, and regulatory inspection activities.  Additional responsibilities include managing the Quality department budget, hiring and development of Quality personnel, performing employee appraisals/competency evaluations and management of the Quality organization.

You Will:

  • Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and ensures that regulatory reporting requirements are met. 
  • Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting USP and FDA regulations, agency guidelines and internal policies to assure compliance. 
  • Ensure quality system performance is measured and routinely reported to the executive management. 
  • Assist in escorting and providing information to regulatory officials during company audits/inspections.
  • Performs a variety of managerial tasks and duties to ensure the appropriate day to day operations of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Ensures activities are completed within scheduled timeframes. (i.e. regulatory submissions/reports, CAPAs, investigations, ADRs, complaint closure, etc.)
  • Ensures adequate training (and documentation) of employees to SOPs, and Quality Assurance processes.
  • Collaborates in the design and implementation of new products. 
  • Ensures that products meet design specifications
  • Works closely with labs to ensure methods and analysis are appropriate for product label claims
  • Assist in the development of internal QC laboratory methods
  • Develop & negotiate Quality Agreements with new and existing direct material suppliers & vendors
  • Provide oversight for audits and visits to ensure 3rd party suppliers & vendors meet regulatory requirements

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Science or Engineering. 
  • Minimum 8 years experience in Quality Assurance; experience with cGMP preferred.
  • Experience working with pharmaceutical, and/or supplement manufacturers required. 
  • Must have experience with implementing new Quality Assurance and/or Control systems & processes in a high growth environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience directly managing teams, including cross functional people leadership; remote people leadership experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Willingness and ability to quickly come up to speed on quality requirements & regulations in new fields.
  • Comfortable working in a fluid environment, managing fluctuating priorities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understating of cGMP requirements and FDA regulations
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the Quality System Regulations (QSR), 21CFR Parts 210,211, 11, and 820 requirements and other related regulations with emphasis in CAPA Systems.

Conditions of Employment: 

  • This position will require working with Hazardous Drugs (HD) and would require that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) be worn for the length of working with these drugs. These items would include gloves, respiratory protection, gown and other items as required.
  • This position requires medical approval to wear respiratory protection in the form of negative or positive pressure respirators, including N95, full face respirator, SCBA, or Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR).
  • Physical exertion required. Including, but not limited to, walking up to 50% of the time, standing up to 100% of the time, squatting and bending up to 20% of the time and lifting up to 80% of the time for up to a twelve hour shift. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Due to the risk of reproductive capability in handling or compounding certain Hazardous Drugs (HD) associates must be willing to confirm that they understand the potential risks (teratogenicity, carcinogenicity and reproductive effects) of handling hazardous drugs.

 

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role for US-based candidates. If you're based outside of the US, your recruiter will be able to provide you with an estimated salary range for your location.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.

$125,000$200,000 USD
