We are seeking an EVP of Life Science Sales, who will report directly to the President.

This is what you’ll do…
- Own sales outcomes to health plans from lead generation to close.
- Develop a detailed account strategy and forecast, including account mapping of key stakeholders at each targeted health plan account.
- Build strategic relationships at the C-Suite and key department levels required to navigate an opportunity to close.
- Build pipeline by prospecting decision-makers at target health plans/payers; partner with the Glooko marketing team and strategic channel partners to execute awareness-to-lead campaigns, including everything thing from conferences to digital marketing.
- Leverage the discovery process to identify account priorities related to diabetes and chronic disease management to develop a strategic plan for uniquely meeting their needs.
- Become a product expert to effectively demonstrate how the Glooko platform will achieve prospective customers’ business goals and objectives, also fitting into their organizational structure and workflows.
- Effectively set and manage prospect expectations with Glooko product line and roadmap.
What we’re really looking for…
- 7-10 years of pharma/biotech marketing
- 3-5 years of marketing/business leadership
- 2-5 years of sales/sales leadership or business development
- 1-3 years of digital health sales/development at a software company or pharma focus on digital
- 1-3 years of clinical trial involvement/support
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years payer/health plan experience selling mobile health, chronic disease management solutions and/or clinical analytics solutions to CMOs, Medical Directors, VP functional owners
- Proven track record of exceeding sales quota to payers/health plans
- Experience selling to benefit consultants or the self-insured employers they serve, and/or diabetes industry experience is a plus
- Executive presence; experience negotiating and structuring sales contracts with sophisticated health plan buyers
- Polished presentation, oral, and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and competitive with the ability to work autonomously; you should be energized by the challenge of building a new business line
