Position: 

We are looking for a data analyst to support the Glooko Data Products team. This includes:

• conducting analyses to help us better understand our users, clinics, and devices, 
• identifying and interpreting user patterns/trends/anomalies, and 
• communicating analysis results,
• develop and ensure successful delivery of data shares with partners,
• preparing customer billing reports and dashboards.

This is an individual contributor role. You will spend:

• 75% of your time coding, analyzing data, and creating reports/dashboards, and 
• 25% of your time communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Areas of Responsibility: 

• Analyzing complex business problems using data from internal and external sources. 
• Processing and exploring data, discovering patterns/trends, and identifying anomalies.
• Performing statistical analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns.
• Interpreting trends and patterns in datasets to guide data-driven decisions. 
• Using data visualization and BI tools to generate dashboards, reports, and presentations to aid in data storytelling.
• Developing, monitoring, and maintaining growth and engagement metrics.
• Gathering requirements, standardizing/automating reports, and providing insights.
• Producing datasets, reports, and dashboards. 
• Developing new data exports according to identified business needs and requirements.
• Supporting, managing, and scaling internal ad hoc analysis requests. This includes external and internal Support Sales, Account Management, & Customer Success teams.

Contributing to Glooko’s Data Science Team: 

• Submitting version-controlled code with test coverage. 
• Completing code reviews.
• Researching methodology, tools, and frameworks for data analytics. 
• Engaging in technical discussions, participating in technical designs, and presenting technical ideas. 
• Making informed technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment.

Report: This position reports to the Director, Clinical Research and Evidence Generation. 

Job Summary: 

The Clinical Trial Associate (CTA) plays a key role in supporting Glooko’s Clinical Research projects. This role will be a good fit for candidates who desire to learn and grow professionally while gaining experience in clinical trial management. The CTA will assist with existing clinical projects and management of accounts/clinical studies, using knowledge of Glooko products and managing individual projects. This includes managing clinical/outcomes research projects to ensure Clinical Research opportunities are executed and set up for success. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

• Responsible for supporting external, internal, decentralized, and virtual clinical trials and registries.  
• Supporting operational aspects of clinical trials, including the development of study and source materials (SOPs, IRB forms, etc.).
• Supporting internal departmental quality compliance.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, execution, and follow-up of clinical research and development activities to meet business goals and objectives. 

Core Responsibilities: 

• Coordinate multiple ongoing clinical research studies. 
• Responsible for ordering and tracking of study supplies and device provisioning for multiple clinical studies.
• Work closely with the Customer Support and Product/Engineering teams to track reported issues to ensure follow-up and regular communication with the study sponsor/site staff.
• Work closely with the Data Science team to ensure the quality of clinical trials and data analysis. 
• Assist with the development and maintenance of training materials in collaboration with Customer Support and Marketing.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP and US and OUS guidelines).
• Participate in project and departmental team meetings. 
• Track and record safety concerns and adverse events/SAEs.
• Participate in product improvement activities (information gathering, requirements, cross-functional meetings) that meet our customers’ needs. 
• Understand diabetes and comorbid conditions.
• Special projects as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

We are seeking a Vice President of Clinical Platform and Sales, who will report directly to the President.

This is what you’ll do…

• Own sales outcomes to health plans from lead generation to close.
• Develop a detailed account strategy and forecast, including account mapping of key stakeholders at each targeted health plan account.
• Build strategic relationships at the C-Suite and key department levels required to navigate an opportunity to close.
• Build pipeline by prospecting decision-makers at target health plans/payers; partner with the Glooko marketing team and strategic channel partners to execute awareness-to-lead campaigns, including everything thing from conferences to digital marketing.
• Leverage the discovery process to identify account priorities related to diabetes and chronic disease management to develop a strategic plan for uniquely meeting their needs.
• Become a product expert to effectively demonstrate how the Glooko platform will achieve prospective customers’ business goals and objectives, also fitting into their organizational structure and workflows.
• Effectively set and manage prospect expectations with Glooko product line and roadmap.

What we’re really looking for…

• 7-10 years in clinical trial management - CRA or in-house
• 3-5 years of digital trial support design
• 2-3 years of sales - pharma/CRO
• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years payer/health plan experience selling mobile health, chronic disease management solutions and/or clinical analytics solutions to CMOs, Medical Directors, VP functional owners
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quota to payers/health plans
• Experience selling to benefit consultants or the self-insured employers they serve, and/or diabetes industry experience is a plus
• Executive presence; experience negotiating and structuring sales contracts with sophisticated health plan buyers
• Polished presentation, oral, and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and competitive with the ability to work autonomously; you should be energized by the challenge of building a new business line

This position is responsible for developing, establishing, and maintaining quality and compliance programs, policies, processes, procedures, and controls ensuring that performance and quality of products conform to established standards, agency regulations, Glooko’s Quality Policy, Quality Objectives, and Quality Manual.

About the Role: 

• Support and assure FDA and ISO 13485 Design Controls requirements on the development processes for Glooko products on cross-functional teams
• Ensure compliance to the elements of Design Controls including Planning, Design Input, Design Output, Design Review, Design Verification, Design Validation, Design Transfer, Design Changes, and Design History File
• Lead the medical device risk management activities, include FDA cybersecurity requirements, across the global organization
• Facilitate the risk management and dFMEA/sFMEA processes among stakeholders in Engineering, Verification, Clinical, Product and Regulatory
• Lead risk evaluation for pre-market and post-market issues for product safety, including completion of the risk documentation and the risk management file
• Identify potential quality issues in products and processes and deliver guidance on developing effective remediation for addressing them
• Exercise independent judgment in evaluating complex processes, procedures and systems against written regulatory requirements and company procedures
• Collaborate and guide with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to ensure implementation of Design Controls and Quality Systems
• Manage the change control process by monitoring all types of changes that can influence product reliability and quality
• Create Quality and Risk Management Plans for product development projects and manage the plans throughout the development process
• Participate in the CAPA process and work with CAPA owners to address and close CAPAs in a timely manner
• Support Externals Audits from FDA, ISO 13485 and Partners including documentation and follow-up on the action items for audit issues
• Support Internal Audits to document and follow-up on audit issues and assist teams with resolution of the issues
• Prepare documentation required by the FDA and assist in maintaining the Glooko Quality System

About You: 

• BS or MS degree in Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electical Engineering, Computer Science, Regulatory Affairs or another scientific discipline
• Minimum 6-8 years Quality System and Design Assurance experience in the FDA-regulated medical device industry with specific experience working directly with medical device software development teams
• Direct experience with FDA 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62034, IEC 82304, and FDA Cybersecurity expectations
• Strong understanding and responsibility for compliance to Design Control Requirements
• In-depth knowledge of Medical Device Risk Management practices according to ISO 14971 including application of Risk Management to all the stages of software development including dFMEA/sFMEA. 
• A lengthy track record in effective application of Design Control best practices to medical device software development teams
• Knowledgeable of AAMI Technical Information Reports including: TIR80002-1 – Guidance on the application of ISO14971 to Medical Device Software, TIR45 - Using Agile in Medical Device Software Development and TIR36 - Validation Of Software For Regulated Processes
• In-dept experience in all general FDA and ISO 13485 Quality System processes including: Management Review, Document Control, Training, CAPA, Audits, Complaints, Supplier Management, SOPs, etc.
• Ability to lead and manage various Regulatory activities and meetings including CAPA, risk analysis, documentation and audit meetings
• Detail oriented and well organized with excellent skills in written and verbal communications and analytical and strategic thinking
• Ability to work independently and to collaborate effectively on teams
• Experience working on diabetes-related product desired
