What you’ll do:
- Provide implementation, configuration, and day-to-day support of ServiceNow.
- Train colleagues in effective use of ServiceNow.
- Integrate program Service Level Agreement reporting into the ServiceNow dashboard.
- Create requirements definitions and technical specifications documentation, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Work with IT managers to generate views and reports as needed.
- Analyze and fully understand user requirements and current procedures, to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows, and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the ServiceNow roadmap.
- Support both on-premises and cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
- Support solution development by providing, communicating, and evolving the broader technology and architectural view of the solution.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation. Participate in planning, definition, and high-level design of the solution and explore solution alternatives.
- Define subsystems and their interfaces, allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with solution context.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
- 3+ years of ServiceNow ITSM and Service Portal development experience, including experience with configuring out of the box ITSM, developing the Service Catalog module, and supporting business analysts and users with platform optimizations.
- Proficiency in all phases of the Application Development Lifecycle.
- Experience implementing and configuring the ServiceNow ITSM module.
- Experience creating request forms, developing integration with external systems, and enhancing the user interface to provide a custom look and feel for end users.
- Experience as a technical resource on development and O&M engagements at customer sites.
- Knowledge coordinating with implementation partners, IT managers, internal stakeholders, and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback.
- an understanding of managing tickets, communicating via email, and working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
