Job Description
AIM’s New Business Development team is recruiting a high-energy, driven individual with experience in a value-driven sales approach. Ideal candidates should possess strong B2B sales and account management experience and a solid track record. This critical function is responsible for acquiring new and driving a high volume of sales by managing the complete sales process. It works with the rest of the AIMorganization to uncover new ways to continue to make AIM a leader in the metal recycling industry. The territory will cover the London, Ontario region.
What you’ll do:
- Drive sales revenue through new client acquisition by managing the complete sales process
- Strengthen client relationships through regular engagement and face-to-face meetings
- Build and manage a book of business through outbound prospecting as well as inbound opportunities.
- Be organized - effectively manage an account set, keep detailed and accurate notes of all sales-related activities.
- Enable successful roll-out of AIM services to customer employees, including sharing and developing relevant documentation, brainstorming ideas, and attending launches and sites visits in person
- Collaborate closely with account management team to support existing customers and the renewal process
Qualifications

- Solid sales forecasting abilities and revenue achievement
- Successful history of net new business sales
- A background in inbound and outbound prospecting and closing of new business
- Willingness to travel
Experience
- University Degree is preferred
- Sales, marketing and/or operations focus is an asset
- B2B sales experience required
