Role Purpose

The Senior Director, Enterprise Financial Systems, reporting to the VP of Global Corporate Systems & Services leads a team of 5 direct reports and 40+ individuals distributed throughout the globe. You will provide vision and overall leadership for the teams delivering best-of-breed corporate financial systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems: Financials, Payroll, Procurement, Treasury, Payment Processing, Governance and Risk Management, and Corporate Business Analytics/Intelligence and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and reporting.

Major Job Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic technical leadership for corporate financial systems.

  • Manage costs and performance to budget, ensuring comprehensive stability of infrastructure and applications.

Qualifications

Required experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in planning, implementing financial systems at a global scale for a publicly traded company with 3+ years of experience leading a team of people leaders.
  • 3+ years of experience in a global leadership position.
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required technical experience:

  • Experience with Oracle e-Business Suite or another ERP.
  • Lead on-premises to cloud/SaaS ERP transition.
  • Experience in BI and analytics related tools (PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau).
  • Experience with modern data platforms and designs (data warehouse, data lake, lake house).
  • Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes

  • Work closely with the brands and account management teams to quickly resolve collection issues. Identify issues that require further research and hand these issues off to resolvers for resolution.
  • Maintains familiarity with current policies, procedures, and systems supporting these functions.
  • Partners with other Divisions and departments to improve bad debt/accounts receivable collection, fraud management, credit screening.
  • Actively document collection status, which include promise to pay and customer payment issues within the comment section of aging.
  • Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts. Actively monitor and document customers who become severely delinquent.
  • Notify management of any bad debt, write off or uncollectable balances.
  • Prepares and present AD hoc reporting. 
  • Promote strong collaborative relationships between collection team and other internal teams such as billing, brand account finance teams, and account management teams.

The base pay range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000, and there will be a strong variable component. The Simulation group delivers products that accelerate our autonomous vehicle development, testing, and deployment through specialized frameworks and tools. We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to join our Scenario Generation team. The Scenario Generation team is responsible for building the tools to enable scenario generation at scale for both testing and training the AV driving policy. The Scenario Generation team works closely with the rest of the Simulation, as well as our partners Behaviors, Perception, and Safety Engineers.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working on Cruise’s Scenario Generation toolkit, including design and implement algorithms, APIs and end to end solutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to generate testing and training scenarios to identify and close gaps.
  • Collaborating with various specialists to get algorithms and ML models deployed and integrated into the simulation stack, with an eye on optimization and simplification of these procedures.
  • Help define and build metrics to evaluate correctness and realism of simulation scenarios.

What you must have:

  • Experience writing Python or C++ in a production environment (unit testing, code review, algorithm performance and tradeoffs, etc.)
  • Experience with computational geometry or linear algebra
  • Experience with time-series data analysis
  • Familiarity with NumPy,  SciPy, Python bindings for C++, and plotting/visualization libraries
  • Experience with front-end development TypeScript/JavaScript, and Familiarity with React, Node.Js
  • 4+ years of experience in the field of robotics
  • Experience developing automation scripts (Python and Bash scripts)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

About the role

  • Research and discover new opportunities for improving the user experience of our website, tools, and funnels ultimately leading to more marketing qualified leads, and higher converting experiences.
  • Continuously improve our website performance, technical tools and process for building and maintaining our website.
  • Develop, maintain, evolve, and design within style standards (spanning desktop and mobile), with an eye towards efficiency and a consistent user experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Design, and Engineering partners representing design at Podium, providing and seeking feedback, and participating in feature prioritization and planning.
  • Articulate and represent Podium’s brand through interactive design and development through best practices and standards while challenging existing design norms.

About you

  • You have experience designing and implementing user interfaces and experiences.
  • You have experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, etc)
  • You have experience building responsive user interfaces
  • You have a portfolio showcasing strong design foundations, such as typography, interaction design, or visual design.
  • You have experience working in a technical, UX, or design organization working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders
  • You're an excellent facilitator and are comfortable leading teams through ideation, research, and the natural ambiguity that occurs when defining new features.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supporting collections efforts for Podium's USA based customers.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with other departments the results of collections efforts
  • Assist with other accounting/finance projects as necessary
  • Perform accounts receivable functions, including preparing and amending customer invoices and communicating with customers regarding past due invoices
  • Coordinate with various internal departments to ensure accuracy of customer billing

  • Assist in month end reconciliations and other close processes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Geographically based in the Philippines
  • 1-2 years related accounts receivable experience
