Job Description

The Professional Services role within Arista takes client engagements from initial design through implementation and migration and continues on to provide in life operational support. This ensures a seamless transition for customers from initial exposure to full operational capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer situation to develop requirements and gather technical requirements for the purpose of designing a network to be deployed.
  • Develop and provide designs in line with requirements. Write High and Low Level Design documents based on gathered requirements for guidance and reference during and after Arista network deployment
  • Implementation and migration planning detail and support
  • Write and execute test plans for purpose of validating newly deployed Arista networks once the deployment is complete in order to ensure new infrastructures are capable of carrying production network traffic.  
  • Work with customers to plan, write, and execute Methods of Procedure documents outlining steps to seamlessly migrate production network traffic from legacy infrastructure to the newly deployed Arista Network Fabric.
  • Perform Knowledge Transfer training on Arista network designs, platforms, and features to Arista Professional Services customers.
  • Ongoing operational support to the customer
  • Develop professional relationships with customers to assist them with Arista solution deployment projects.
  • Assist project management in developing project plans to track deployment project task execution, communication cadence with customers, and timelines.
  • Travel to customer locations required.

Qualifications

  • Specializing in design and deployment of industry-leading networking solutions.
  • Ability to develop accurate and meaningful requirements.
  • High level and low level design experience for Spine & Leaf infrastructure.
  • Advanced network protocol knowledge, especially BGP, EVPN, VXLAN and SR.
  • Linux operating system and scripting knowledge.
  • Experience of delivering technical and operational training to customers
  • Basic/Advanced Python programming skills
  • 10+ years of industry experience focused on IP networks
  • Led and delivered several projects including greenfield implementations, complete migrations and integration efforts.
  • A computer science (or similar) degree
  • Prior Arista Hardware or EOS experience
  • CCIE and/or JNCIE certifications/ equivalents, security certifications such as CISSP/equivalents
  • Excellent written and verbal skills

  • Lead the design and implementation of major software components, systems, and features
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve the software systems  in the Lab Fulfillment ecosystem
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables aligned with the Lab Fulfillment team’s roadmap
  • Understand customer requirements and translate those into reliable and scalable system designs

Cruise is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (SSE) on the Enterprise Integration Services team. As an SSE, you will be leading and solving large scale and complex enterprise engineering problems, collaborating with several teams - business technology, product engineering, and senior business leadership.   • Create enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration architecture and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices

  • Advocate for architecture principles, business impact, better engineering, simple and direct solutions

  • Own and drive the integration architecture across the ecosystem that meets security and compliance standards

  • Define, publish and communicate integration technology standards, frameworks, principles and roadmap, in partnership with Enterprise Architects

  • Establish consistent metrics to measure integration platform performance & health and create the platform roadmap for scale, reliability, low latency and speed of development and deployment

    Description

    Security Operations Center Analysts provide premium-level support for Cloudflare’s security products and features. Our largest and most technically sophisticated customers will contact the SOC as a Service team for assistance and intelligence in dealing with threats or attacks on their infrastructure at OSI Layers 3, 4, and 7. This will span the range of Cloudflare security products from Magic Transit Infrastructure Protection, DDoS mitigation and Network Firewall, to using the Web Application firewall (WAF), Spectrum, Bot Management and Rate Limiting to help customers.

    Security Operations Center Analysts analyze threats, make detailed and informed suggestions for mitigation and may need to implement mitigation strategies directly on behalf of the customer. The team also provides attack reporting beyond Cloudflare’s self-service reports.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and investigate the alerts to identify attacks
    • Work with Engineering and Operations teams to mitigate attacks, suggest steps to mitigate, and apply the appropriate mitigation, when applicable
    • Work with Engineering and Product teams to improve the products and tools
    • Extensive communications with customers via chat, email, and phone 
    • Review the latest alerts to determine relevancy and urgency. Create new tracking tickets for alerts that signal an incident and require review or escalation
    • Configure / Manage security monitoring rules and contribute to tool improvements
    • Compare traffic signatures and attributes including IP addresses, cookie variations, HTTP headers, and JavaScript footprints to determine what is good traffic and what is malicious
    • Participation in a weekend and holiday rotation required with main working hours 9 to 5 Pacific time 

    Key skill sets

    • Strong understanding of the OSI model, TCP, UDP, BGP, QUIC
    • Advanced understanding of iptables
    • Analysis of traffic for attack anomaly detection and creation of mitigation rules
    • Experience in handling attack mitigation and thorough knowledge of various attacks (L3/4 and L7)
    • At least 2 years of technical support experience and customer support experience is a must
    • Strong communication skills with high-value customers

    We use Machine Learning and Generative AI as an important part of our toolkit. Our systems block payments in real-time where appropriate. We use generative AI technologies to improve agent workflow and case review tools, by adding features that accelerate agent productivity and allow them to make more informed and accurate decisions. We are looking for a senior MLE that can integrate vertically into the ML sub-team and focus on building/enhancing tools, libraries, frameworks, developer environments etc. for ML modeling workflows.

    This is an IC role reporting into the Data Science and ML Modeling Manager that has leadership responsibilities including driving strategic roadmaps and priorities to completion by collaborating with cross functional stakeholders.

    You will:

    • Design, build and enhance batch and real-time inference services and tooling that support our ML use cases
    • Facilitate modelers on the team by unblocking access to the infrastructure/tools necessary for development including MLOps
