About the Role: 

Sezzle is seeking a Fraud Operations Associate Analyst to support fraud monitoring. As part of optimizing the online shopping experience, Sezzle constantly monitors users and transactions for abusive or fraudulent behavior. Our Fraud Operations team reviews suspicious activity flagged by Sezzle’s fraud detection system or escalated from Customer Support agents. Fraud Operations Analysts will block users deemed fraudulent or risky, and clear false positive flags from our automated systems and support agents. We monitor for new trends in fraudulent behavior and continuously evolve our policies and procedures to stay one step ahead. We are looking for a teammate who can work one of the shifts listed below full-time: 


● Monday - Friday between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm - Central Time. 
● Sunday - Thursday between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm - Central Time. 
● Tuesday - Saturday between 9:00 am - 5:30 pm - Central Time. 
● Monday - Friday between 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm - Central Time. 

This will be a non-exempt/hourly position. 

What You'll Do:

  • ● Monitor real-time transactions and other customer behaviors flagged for fraud and abuse for manual review. 
    ● Investigate individual transactions using internal policies and review methodologies to determine if the transactions are fraudulent or not. 
    ● Understand our systems and tools; investigate account patterns through data analysis.
    ● Research fraud and user behavior to contribute to machine learning models, rules and other detection systems. 
    ● Collaborate with analysts, operations specialists, data scientists and engineering to improve our fraud prevention mechanisms, processes and tools. 
    ● Learn and maintain strong domain knowledge of the world of fraud including prevention techniques and technologies. 
    ● Maintain or exceed established service level agreements (SLAs) for timely resolution of queued cases to minimize potential losses. 
    ● Handle escalations from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and efficient manner. 

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in investigating and resolving fraud incidents 
  • Experienced in analyzing data and comfortable making impactful decisions in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong business judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to self-start and work with minimal supervision after training
  • Able to work through holidays
  • Minimum GPA of 4.2 out of 5.0 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work experience in fintech, payments, lending, banking, or financial institutions is a plus 
  • Degree in statistics, math, finance, economics, or related quantitative discipline; graduate degree a plus 
  • Experience in using database query language (e.g. SQL, etc), and data processing and analytics tools such as Python / R / SAS is a plus 
  • Ideal candidate will be available to start within two weeks following an offer

Job Purpose

The Software Engineer will join the software development team in designing and implementing the development of our consumer-facing, high-traffic, e-commerce web platform.  We are looking for front end, back end, and fullstack developers from junior to mid-level.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops software solutions by identifying user and system requirements for anew customer-facing, high-traffic, e-commerce web platform
  • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Proposes and enforces best practices for software development lifecycle
  • Proposes coding standards and guidelines for the team to follow and enforce them through code review process
  • Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities
  • Collaborates with team to brainstorm and creates new ideas and solutions
  • Designs the new web platform where security is part of the design consideration from the start
  • Ensures that the platform is designed and coded so ongoing deployment, support and maintenance can be streamlined, following the CI/CD process 
  • Performs technical analysis to support the effective and efficient development efforts

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of programming experience, including REST API, Python, Django, and VueJS experience.

The Opportunity:
As a Technical Account Manager, you will create and maintain long-term relationships with Imperva strategic customers, manage complex implementation and onboarding projects. Manage consulting assignments and technical escalations, as well work closely with HQ teams for our Incapsula Cloud and SecureSphere products (Dev, QA, Security, Sr. Management) in order to get issues resolved. Responsibilities:
  • Support the Imperva cloud and on-premise security product deployments for assigned accounts.
  • Act as a primary, single point-of-contact for assigned accounts.
  • Keep customer teams up to date via ongoing status about onboarding, configuration, and tuning efforts, cases, feature requests (RFEs) and current news from the field on the latest security trends and developments as well as product release notes.
  •  Perform quarterly systems health checks and service reviews.
  • Become a champion by accelerating case closures or increasing visibility on pain points with their deployments. Work with customers, partners, customer account teams and other internal Imperva teams to reach timely resolutions.
  • Create and deepen customer relationships by performing on-site customer.

Position Overview

For this role you should be a leading Technical Support Engineer, experienced in technical support of complex technologies in challenging global environments. About the team

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Cloud Computing on AWS, running workloads in Kubernetes, and a focus on ML Ops and other Data Engineering workloads. The Simulation group delivers products that accelerate our autonomous vehicle development, testing, and deployment through specialized frameworks and tools. We’re looking for experienced software engineers for our Simulation Analysis and Acceleration team to deliver analytical frameworks, tools, etc that enable others to build quantitative analysis pipelines, metrics to support and accelerate design, prioritization and development of features, and evaluate impact of recently shipped features. You will be responsible for ensuring the full lifecycle of investigating and understanding our platforms: determining appropriate metrics and methodologies, building data pipelines to measure the accuracy and precisions of different simulation frameworks, tracking the evolution of the AVs performance within Simulation, and deploying tools for clear and accurate reporting to stakeholders and customers. The team is also responsible for accelerating development and testing of current and new capabilities built by our customers through continuously improving the verification and validation workflows. As a member of this team you will improve productivity across the organization by building automation tools and shared libraries that will be used across engineering teams.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and improve data pipelines for evaluating simulated behaviors against both real world observation data and simulation synthetic data
  • Create tooling that can receive signals from various sources (Simulation, Road, etc) and allow users to easily build quantitative analysis pipelines to extract usable insights
  • Accelerate team’s effectiveness and efficiency by designing and implementing scalable automation tools for test creation, data collection and analysis, debugging, and performance monitoring
  • Design and implement extensible and well-tested shared libraries that will be used by many engineers across the organization
  • Collaborate with Frameworks and Data Infra teams to build and deploy tools to improve productivity
  • Work closely with autonomous vehicle engineering to enable rapid development and model feedback
  • Maintain a high technical standard for code quality on the team, through architectural design and code reviews

 

What you must have:

  • Experience developing scalable software solutions that will be used by many developers
  • Experience writing Python and C++ in a production environment (unit testing, code review, algorithm performance and tradeoffs, etc.)
  • Experience developing automation scripts (Python and Bash scripts)
  • Experience with performance optimization
  • BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
