The Role

The Role

The Team

You will be a member of the Finance team and will report into the Director of Finance, Revenue. This role will require partnership with members of the Finance who oversee costs & investments (team of 3) on forecasting and variance analysis, as well as with the leaders of our various business segments (Sales, Post Sales, Register, Goods) on revenue analysis. This is a high impact, high visibility individual contributor role ideally based in the New York metropolitan area, though we will also consider remote candidates in other geographies based on qualifications.

The Winning Recipe 

  • 3-5 years of FP&A and/or corporate finance required. Previous startup experience is a plus, but not required.

We want our shops to truly feel like they are part of a community, and facilitating that requires more than a best-in-class product. Slice needs to create spaces (both digitally and physically) where shop owners can come together to share what’s working, what’s not working, and everything in-between. All facilitated by Slice. 

The Role

The Senior Manager, Shop Community & Engagement will play a critical role in strengthening our relationships with shop owners. This role will determine how to facilitate regular touch points that 1) add value to shop owners, 2) assure that shop owners understand exactly how Slice benefits their business, and 3) strengthen the ties between shop owners. The end goal is for shop owners who partner with Slice to no longer feel alone in their restaurant journey. By facilitating regular community events (both digitally and in-person) Slice hopes to create a true community of shop owners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and create content for monthly onboarding Zoom sessions for new shops (with key Slice department leads as presenters)
  • Lead and create content for monthly Zoom sessions (presentations, fireside chats, roundtables, new product updates, product deep dives, etc) for existing shop owners
  • Create content in the form of blog posts, newsletters, presentations, etc., all designed to add value to a shop owner’s Slice experience 
  • Create a "Shop Ambassador" program and identify influential shops/owners to act as a Slice reference for prospect shops
  • Manage all trade show event attendance, and facilitate “VIP” dinners/lunch/coffee with key prospect attendees and shop ambassadors
  • Manage the marketing component of new shop welcome packages
  • Manage our “surprise and delight” program for critically important shops
  • Create and collaborate with our Partner Success team on programs that identify shops that are churn risks, proactively addressing that shop’s individual struggles 
  • Identify and manage key relationships with non-Slice entities (eg, restaurant owner influencers, complimentary businesses, food bloggers) that would add value to a shop’s experience with Slice

The Team

You will be a member of the Marketing team and report into the VP of Marketing. This role is cross-functional and involves close collaboration with our Partner Success department, among others. This is an individual contributor role, with the goal of expanding the team over the next 18-24 months.

The Role

As the B2B Marketing Manager you will be responsible for executing marketing campaigns with the goal of driving leads to our products. You will be responsible for strategizing, creating, managing, executing and analyzing initiatives. Key responsibilities include: 

  • Executing marketing campaigns with the goal of driving leads to our products through a variety of earned and paid channels. Products of focus will include online ordering, Slice Register and The Goods
  • Manage Slice’s marketing for our territory strategy nationwide 
  • Work with the data team to generate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for all KPIs
  • Monitor analytics tools and dashboards
  • Communicate with cross-functional teams to manage & complete projects, including development, timelines, and campaign pacing
  • Assist in writing creative briefs, developing testing protocols, and reporting results
  • Work with paid platform representatives
  • Ownership over approving marketing assets and communications for current and prospect shops

The Team

Your day-to-day team would include a collaborative group of members from the B2B marketing team. Our B2B Marketing team is based in the U.S. and Macedonia. You would also partner cross-functionally with teams such as Creative, Sales, Partner Success, Analytics and Go-To-Market. You will be reporting directly to our Director, B2B Marketing.

We’re looking for a driven, creative, organized and enthusiastic Marketer who is excited to work hard to achieve our company goals. These are the core competencies this role calls for:

  • BS/BA degree 
  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing and lead generation
  • Experience in marketing, hospitality and/or sales preferred
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated leader
  • Ability to work cross functionally in a fast-paced environment

The Challenge to Solve

We want our shops to be able to articulate exactly what benefits Slice provides their shop – in plain language – and how Slice differentiates itself from key competitors. To do this, we need to know how to best position Slice’s solution to both prospective and current shops, which is rooted in understanding Slice’s B2B customer base’s pain points and our product solutions to these pain points.

The Role

The Senior Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role in shop growth and shop product expansion. You will determine how to best position Slice to prospective independent shops, help create territory specific sales collateral, and determine how to onboard and communicate to Slice shops so that they fully understand the value Slice creates for each shop. This is a highly visible role, with an opportunity to add both immediate and long-term impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop current product/feature positioning and messaging.
  • Identifying direct competitors and product differentiation.
  • Create both written and video case studies of our most successful shops.
  • Supply our sales teams with necessary information and marketing assets. 
  • Create a go-to-market strategy for future product/feature launches, as well as help execute territory specific launches. 
  • Help inform our B2B marketing and creative teams with strategic insights to inform our online and offline advertising messaging. 
  • Partner with the B2B marketing team to assure ongoing shop communication, reinforcing the value Slice provides shops at every touchpoint.  
  • Define, monitor, and measure all relevant KPIs and design reporting dashboards.

The Team

You will be a member of the Marketing team and report into the VP of Marketing. This role is cross-functional and involves close collaboration with B2B Product and Sales teams + leadership. This is an individual contributor role, with the goal of expanding the team over the next 18-24 months.

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, and/or lifecycle marketing.

  • Willingness to go the extra mile
  • Experience creating B2B sales collateral (eg, decks, sales scripts, 1-pagers, competitive battlecards, etc) preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in marketing delivery apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and/or experience in marketing POS systems like Toast, Clover, etc preferred, but not required.
