Job Description

The successful individual will execute the Product Marketing strategy. This will require a deep understanding of our customers and market to develop positioning, messaging and content for the ERP solution area with some responsibilities for our AI technology. You will be aligned to specific industries and may work on other solution areas as the business requires.

  • Own your product marketing initiatives and plans aligned to GTM.
  • Solution knowledge: collaborate with product management and other stakeholders and develop deep product and solution knowledge to create and adapt messages and differentiated stories.
  • Competitive landscape: work with the competitive intelligence team to deliver differentiated messaging and content.
  • Audience frameworks: Identify, develop, maintain, and use personas in your buying center to create targeted content and talking points.
  • Content: Create, review, and maintain relevant content for use by Marketing Teams, Corporate Communications, and Customer-facing teams based on the buyer journey.
  • Develop compelling thought leadership. stay abreast of trends and research for your solutions areas and industries.
  • Activities relating to product releases and key announcements
  • Sales enablement: equip customer-facing teams with the latest tools 
  • Collaborate with the Analyst Relations team on analysts’ briefings and inquiries, to influence perception and support analyst report submissions.
  • Coordinate and communicate on a regular cadence with other marketing teams, internal presentations, and, post on our global intranet.
  • Represent and serve as a spokesperson for your assigned area.
  • Develop relationships with customers and partners to deliver relevant messaging and content.

 

    Qualifications

    Essential Skills:

    • Must be able to work independently and take the initiative to develop opportunities and address problems to move the business forward.
    • Experience in synthesizing complex information into simple messages.
    • Persuasive and concise written communication and strong verbal skills.
    • Experienced in participating regularly in customer and prospect meetings.
    • Experience in presenting to external audiences through various channels.
    • Ability to influence without authority across organizational departments.

    Essential Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of proven experience as a Product Marketing Manager, Product Manager, or similar role in B2B software/technology in a global environment.
    • Experience in the enterprise software space

    Desirable Skills:

    • General understanding of AI,  ML and ERP.
    • Experience in defining GTM strategies and market analysis/research.
    • Comfortable working with agencies and creative teams to develop assets such as videos and collateral.
    • Degree-educated in Business, Marketing, Communications, a similar field, or equivalent work experience

    The Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager of Product Marketing to join Simon Data. In this role, you will play a critical role of evangelizing Simon’s products and driving our core messaging in the market. As the Senior Manager of Product Marketing, you will lead our product marketing programs while interfacing with our sales, product, executive, and CS teams.     What You’ll Do

    • Ideal Customer Profile -Develop a deep understanding of Simon Data’s customers and prospects through market research and customer interviews. 
    • Positioning and Messaging -Work with the product team to position and message both new and existing Simon Data products to the market.
    • Internal expert -Become an expert in Simon’s product strategy, roadmap, and competitive landscape
    • Product Launches -Drive regular product launches into the market with the marketing and product teams. This includes smaller product feature launches as well as tent-pole events.
    • Sales enablement -Partner with our enablement team to ensure sales and CS have the materials they need to be successful.
    • Sales collateral -Work with the marketing and sales team to develop compelling GTM materials like sales slides, one-sheeters, and battle cards. 



    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
    • 5 - 12 years experience, primarily in B2B product marketing within SaaS companies 
    • Experience in MarTech, CDPs, or Digital Marketing highly preferred
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.

    As a Product Marketing Manager at Shift, you will own the go-to-market plan and product positioning for Shift’s AI-powered products, which are helping to transform the insurance decision-making experience.     Job Summary

    We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise B2B Product Marketing Pro to help us tell the story behind Bevy and CMX. While the Bevy platform was built to help brands build their in-person community events, we’ve experienced significant growth in our virtual events product and services.     Objectives for the role

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Build and execute our go-to-market strategy around the Bevy virtual community and conference platforms as well as our CMX products 
    • Develop consumer messaging to clearly and concisely convey the value of our platform features for the sales team and develop sales tools that facilitate the selling process.
    • Devise new and innovative marketing programs for both lead generation and customer engagement, including account-based marketing strategies and pipeline creation.

    • The PMM will have to post on forums, host Webinars, reply on Quora questions and occasionally blog.

    • Analyze the competition and use data to support the ideas we are communicating to our prospects and other team members.

    The total annual salary for this full-time position is $141,000 - $191,000 + equity + benefits.  As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    What's the opportunity?

    We’re growing fast and are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our Growth team. If you’re passionate about the future of technology, the world of product marketing and wants to blend strategic and tactical delivery, this role is for you.
    As our Product Marketing Manager, you will help drive revenue through end-to-end product marketing planning and execution. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will partner closely with the product, sales, CS, and growth team to refine messaging and GTM execution for our product. You’ll own and execute product launches and releases and help optimize the product feedback loop.


    What you will be doing?

      • Own the GTM strategy, mapping out core developer persona and journeys, developing messaging & positioning, use cases, competitive intelligence and launch strategy. 
      • Develop a deep understanding of complex and technical content to support our marketing channels.
      • Become an expert of our product and our market using industry reports, surveys, interviews, product usage data, customer feedback etc.
      • Develop value propositions and narrative messaging for our targeted audience (technical such as developers and less technical such as Product Managers) from the website to case studies, competition guides, blog posts etc. 
      • Own release materials (emails, landing pages, website update, blog posts, videos, PR.) from end to end - marketing process, strategic planning and execution of product launches in a way that maximizes market impact and adoption, and analyzing launch performance to identify opportunities of improvement.
      • Organize training to empower the CS team on how to articulate the value proposition to users and prospects.
      • Track and analyze competitors and users, product and industry data, and trends, creating and updating data-driven sales enablement collateral. 
      • Analyze feedback and insights to improve what we do and win and retain customers, precise tracking and reporting success.
      • Understand and document our ICP and buyer's process, including where they get information and the who, what, when and why behind their decisions. 
      • Work collaboratively with every team in the company (e.g. product, growth, CS, etc.) and be a resource to support their initiatitives as well as your own.
      • Identify high-impact projects that will help the team and company achieve ambitious goals.
