This is an exciting time to join the growing Data Team at Remote, which today consists of over 15 Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts spread across 10+ countries. Throughout the team we're focused on driving business value through impactful decision making. We're using a variety of modern data tooling on the AWS platform, such as Snowflake and dbt, with SQL and python being extensively employed.

Senior Data Analyst, Product Analytics is a key hire for our Data Analytics team. This individual will help spearhead our team’s partnership with the Product organisation at Remote, building relationships, generating insights, guiding product decisions, and enhancing user experiences. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a history of providing actionable insights that influence product strategy and performance, which will shape the future of Remote.

What you bring

  • Significant experience working closely with product development teams, defining and delivering insights and analysis for digital products, and impacting key product decisions
  • Extensive familiarity with event tracking taxonomy design, event tracking tools such as Rudderstack or Segment, and product analytics visualization tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude
  • Strong knowledge of product metric design frameworks and implementation, assisting and enabling product teams throughout the lifecycle of measurement of their KPIs
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with product leadership
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Metabase or Looker
  • Proficiency in SQL and dbt. Python is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and ability to document processes for both business and technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • You are a kind, empathetic, and patient person

  • Writes and speaks fluent English

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers and engineers, to define analytics requirements and prioritize initiatives
  • Spearhead efforts to define and implement a robust product metrics framework, to proactively measure and report the performance of key product lines and features
  • Contribute to our education and enablement efforts so that Product teams are able to implement and QA event taxonomies following well-defined best practices, and are able to self-serve insights on customer and user behaviour
  • Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights related to user behaviour, product usage, and feature performance
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor product metrics and identify insights
  • Work alongside data engineers, analytics engineers, and data analysts to collect the right data, to build out our data warehouse in dbt, and to properly deliver product models and metrics
  • Mentor and support junior analysts by providing guidance, sharing best practices, and promoting a culture of continuous learning and development

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $35,850 USD to $80,650 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

As an IAM development engineer, contribute during design, configuration, deployment, and operation in the areas of Identity and Access Management (IAM). This includes access management, identity governance and administration, and privileged access management solutions. Skills Requirements

  • Experience in working on multiple identity management platforms (B2E, B2C and B2B) providing application integration and platform configurations and operational support.
  • Experience in design and implementing user lifecycle workflows.
  • Experience with IGA application integrations.
  • Knowledgeable in APIs and experience developing with APIs for application onboarding and provisioning of roles.
  • Plan and executing the transition of services and applications from a legacy system to a modernized infrastructure to improve business processes and efficiency.

Our Industries Sales Engineering organization is seeking a Principal Architect, Machine Learning, Industries Field CTO focused on Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to join our team who can provide leadership in working with both technical and business executives in the design and architecture of the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform as a critical component of their enterprise data architecture and overall machine learning ecosystem.

In this role you will work with sales teams, product management, and technology partners to leverage best practices and reference architectures highlighting Snowflake’s Cloud Data Platform as a core technology enabling platform for the emerging Data Science workload throughout an organization.

As a Senior Architect focused on Machine Learning you must share our passion and vision in helping our customers and partners drive faster time to insight through Snowflake’s Cloud Data Platform, thrive in a dynamic environment, and have the flexibility and willingness to jump in and get things done. You are equally comfortable in both a business and technical context, interacting with executives and talking shop with technical audiences.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO:

  • Apply your data science architecture expertise while presenting Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at strategic prospects, customers, and partners
  • Work with our sales teams, product management, and partners to drive innovation in our Cloud Data Platform and adoption of Snowflakes core ML and GenAI technologies
  • Partner with sales team and channel partners to understand the needs of our customers,  strategize on how to navigate and accelerate winning sales cycles, provide compelling value-based enterprise architecture deliverables and working sessions to ensure customers are set up for success operationally, and support strategic enterprise pilots / proof-of-concepts 
  • Collaborate closely with our Product team to effectively influence the Snowflake’s product roadmaps based on field team and customer feedback
  • Partner with Product Marketing teams to spread awareness and support pipeline building via customer roundtables,  conferences, events, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers

ON DAY ONE, WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning solutions in the cloud 
  • Deep technical hands on expertise within Data Science tools and ecosystem 
  • 2+ years of working with cloud native ML tools 
  • Outstanding presentation skills to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos
  • Working knowledge with data engineering technologies and tools (dbt, Airflow, etc)
  • Expert level knowledge of Data Science and ML fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of deep learning concepts, techniques, and tools (Pytorch, Tensorflow, etc). 
  • 2+ years experience building and deploying ML and data engineering applications and solutions on Spark
  • Expert level knowledge of Python and popular third party packages(Pandas, Numpy, Tensorflow, sklearn, Pytorch, etc)
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Introductory familiarity with LLM developer tools like langchain or LlamaIUndex 
  • Industry Focus a plus (Financial Services, Healthcare & Lifesciences, Media, Retail / CPG, Manufacturing, Insurance, Technology and Telecom, or Federal)
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience preferred.

About the role

  • Demonstrate the value that would be harnessed by prospects should they adopt Dremio in the proposed solution architecture
  • Drive technical evaluation and validation in the form of Pilots, Proof-of-Concepts, Proof-of-Technology, as deemed appropriate 
  • Work closely with Account Executives to implementcustomers’ programs and initiatives based on customer segmentationto ensurea positive customer drive growth through lands / adoption, renewals and expansion
  • Serve as a focal point to ensure customers’ technical needs and issues are swiftly addressed by involving the broader Dremio’s technical community (Professional Services, Support, Product Management, R&D)
  • Liaise with Product Managers to provide feedback from customers about product requirements
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Dremio product and technology and keep abreast of market trends and product & competitor landscapes
  • Support marketing activities by delivering presentations and educational workshops to prospects
  • Establish thought leadership by publishing articles and blogs as well as delivering keynotes at major events

What we’re looking for

  • 7+ years experience as a Sales Engineer/Solutions Architect
  • Expert in Databases, specifically MPP analytic databases and data warehousing concepts
  • Working knowledge of Linux, comfortable installing, debugging and integrating applications on Linux platform
  • Expansive industry experience and technical understanding related to the data analytics industry, and/or hands-on experience using analytics technologies
  • Good understanding and experience supporting Data Lakes and Cloud technologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of the data management eco-system including: Concepts of data warehousing, ETL, data integration, Business Intelligence reporting, etc.
  • Excellent SQL skills in writing and performance tuning queries
  • Experience with scripting tools such as bash shell scripts, Python preferred
  • Great presentation skills with the ability to speak in front of audiences
  • Ability to travel at least 30% of the time
  • Fluent French and English

  • 1+ year of experience with Apache Spark.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
