About the Role:

The VP of Data Engineering will lead Tubi’s data teams including BI, data warehouse, data infrastructure and platform. This leader will be partnering with Machine learning engineers, Product Managers and Data Scientists to deliver high-availability data infrastructure and data architecture that serves their data needs. Responsibilities:

• Drive Tubi’s architecture and vision for our data warehouse and data infrastructure, including ML Data infrastructure, streaming infrastructure, BI, data warehouse
• Define and implement policies and processes for data governance and data retention
• Build a high-quality data engineering team that scales
• Work cross-functionally with Machine Learning engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to understand and deliver on their data needs
• Design processes for operational excellence in system reliability and project management
• Design, build and launch data models, data pipelines, impactful dashboards and data visualizations in production
• Define and manage SLA’s for data infrastructure systems, datasets and processes in production
• Manage relationships and negotiations with external vendors
• Implement processes and policies for infrastructure cost containment and cost forecasting
• Partner with the Tubi infrastructure team to ensure our data infrastructure is secure and easily maintainable

Your Background:

• Experience scaling and managing 30+ person teams
• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, BI and Data Infrastructure
