The Impact U will make:
The Senior Software Engineer’s responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Create an events-driven autonomous system, the Platform Control Plane (PCP), with the goal of centrally managing all facets of the hundreds of deployments of our core platform
- Work with several engineering departments, Infrastructure, SRE, Core Platform, and departments on the business side, Production Support, Solutions Architecture and multiple others
- Create the automation architecture that allows Unqork to scale to 1000+ clients
- Serve on a team of technical architects and developers building new automation use cases for the control plane
- Work with other engineering teams and key stakeholders in the technology organization with the goal of reducing developer pain points
- Partner with Solutions Architecture and Production Support teams to create the unifying interface for the Unqork internal deployment platform (the PCP)
- Immerse oneself in Unqork’s technological ecosystem, maintaining an understanding of the internal organization-facing and the external customer-facing platforms
What U bring:
- Advanced experience with programming languages such as Python, NodeJS or Go
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Three years of experience in Software Engineering
- Experience building, managing and operating one’s own codebases/services
- Deep experience architecting distributed services within cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
- Docker and Kubernetes administration experience
- Experience in serverless computing, such as AWS Lambda
- Experience provisioning infrastructure with Terraform
- Experience using Ansible for configuration management

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $142,400 - $213,600 + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee. Please note that the salary range reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity or perks/benefits.
