Job Description

We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive - Design Image to join our fantastic team!. This role supports the development of a key subject area within the business (including tactical implementation and delivery). The primary responsibility is to support revenue generation through the delivery of high quality, effective and brand aligned design.   By maintaining a high degree of expertise and specialist knowledge in their area, they ensure that agreed objectives and targets are met.  This includes maintaining a solid knowledge of new technologies, technical developments and the deployment of highly effective design content and collateral. The role is globally focused, working with management teams to develop the organization’s capability in their specialist area.

What you will be doing: 

  • Be a subject matter expert for digital content creation and deployment across T&F marketing.
  • Ensure T&F has highly effective, and brand aligned content.  Design creation activities including

              * Editing and creation of graphic and image collateral

             * Creation of graphics and presentations

             * Creation of infographics, headers, banners and other collateral

             * Creation of and usage of design templates

             * Ensuring all design activities are within brand guidelines

             * Awareness of the appropriate, legal, safe and effective use of AI tool 

             * Managing within agree design budgets

  • Collaborate with Regional teams, SOE team, Insight team, Workflow Managers and others to ensure content & copy are fully SEO optimised and drive best possible conversions
  • Collaborate with the web trading, Insight team and others, to support optimisation of customer journeys
  • Close adherence to briefing process (SLA and governance) for all work into the Digital Delivery, Merchandising and CRM groups.
  • Support the management of all workflows in line with ROI goals and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure constant development orientation with use of latest tools and techniques – specifically including AI techniques, tools, processes and thinking

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • A strong portfolio and/or website showing your work
  • Detailed and strong experience in content creation, content creation KPIs on common marketing platforms, content creation tools, techniques and technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience and expertise and a high degree of proficiency in their area;
  • Advanced knowledge of page layout, proof marks/mark-ups, stylesheets and ability to follow design templates
  • Good knowledge of Litho Printing, Digital Printing, 4 colour process and Pantone Colours
  • Colour correction and picture manipulation
  • Good knowledge of difference between web and print design
  • Very good Knowledge of Mac OS, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Good knowledge of Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Sketch and web design applications
  • Concept development, picture research and image manipulation
  • Effectively manages all information related to projects and corresponding KPIs.
  • Able to effectively present information to a variety of stakeholders
  • Maintains advanced knowledge of new marketing/industry trends

They will oversee relationships with external creative vendors and manage the BBBSA digital asset management platform as well as the production of specific content.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • In consult with the Director, Creative and Content and/or the Chief Marketing Officer, serves as primary lead of branding efforts for BBBSA through creative and content production including but not limited to graphic design and creation of templates, reports, logos, presentations, guidelines, photography, videos, and animations, and much more using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere), Microsoft Office, Asana, Brandfolder, SharePoint and Google Docs.
  • Creates a variety of visual content for websites, video, print, advertising, or other forms of media.
  • Develops visual content and platform for presentations supporting internal and external purposes.
  • Designs graphics/overlays and produces gifs, basic animations and cinemagraphs.
  • Ensures brand compliance is maintained at the national and local agency level.
  • Serves as a main point of contact for all questions regarding branding to all local Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) agencies and manages multiple alias email accounts to provide customer support to those agencies.
  • Researches best practices and creative/content trends to further the BBBSA mission, builds strategic relationships, and partners with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Manages the full development and implementation of a wide range of creative and content materials, including logos, brochures, mailings, social media graphics, videos, reports, calendars, brand standards, etc. Sometimes this will include being the sole owner and creator of these assets.
  • Oversees production of content; May include managing the team of people who work on the project, including graphic designers, writers, and video producers; May also be responsible for managing the budget for the project and ensuring that the project meets the goals of the company.
  • Serves on the planning team for the Big Brother Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) National Conference and is a key stakeholder on all things related to branding, marketing, content, and execution of the conference every year.
  • Provides BBBSA digital asset management platform, Brandfolder creative and content training to BBBS agencies throughout the year.

Production & Traffic

  • Creates detailed schedules in Asana (or other project management platform) as assigned; manages deadlines for various stages of creative and content projects; Produce and adhere to a monthly creative & content calendar.
  • Collaborates with the Director, Creative and Content and other Marketing department leadership to distribute assignments to creative team resources (Internal and external), depending on their availability and priorities.
  • Manages follow up and may at times initiate meetings with internal clients to learn more about new project details and give progress updates on existing projects, communicating any issues.
  • Monitors assigned projects and workloads, adjusting assignments and deadlines accordingly.
  • Manages BBBSA digital asset management platform, Brandfolder.
  • Manages related and other duties as assigned in support of department and business needs.

  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and graphic design.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.

As a Graphic / Motion Designer at Customlytics, you will work closely with our various teams to design and implement new advertising and visual assets for our clients' mobile apps. Your Responsibilities
  • You produce static and animated creatives for a number of platforms such as the app stores, campaigns and promotional assets for socials (Meta, TikTok, Google, Reddit, Snapchat, etc.) and web, banners, emails and Push Notifications.
  • You collaborate with the entire Customlytics team, including App Marketing Consultants, Paid Campaign Specialists, ASO Specialists, and mCM Specialists to plan and execute design solutions for mobile apps, always meeting our clients’ individual needs.
  • You support internal company design and marketing activities in order to build brand awareness (promotional materials, marketing collateral, social media assets, presentations & print products; brand guidelines).
  • You mentor and support more Junior Designers as they develop their skills.
Your skills are needed
  • You have either completed a formal training as motion designer or studied motion design or similar. Additionally you have at least 3 years of in-house Graphic Design experience. 
  • Extra points if you have experience working with Adobe XD
  • You have experience in using the Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Premiere Pro and at least basic knowledge with Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
  • You have good attention to detail and an eye for layout, motion and typography
  • You work well in a team as well as independently and take full responsibility for your work
  • You are able to come up with creative campaign concepts that are eye-catching, tell a story and promote our clients' apps in the best way.

ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

About the Design Specialist position

The role of the Design Specialist is to utilize design experience to advance 350.org’s Public Engagement’ objectives and support regional and global visual content projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced graphic designer with secure and swift design skills across a range of fields (web design, editorial design, branding, information design, digital & social media design). The Design Specialist supports the Senior Designer in producing design outputs either directly or through a network of practitioners.

  • Design strategy: 
    • Supports the Senior Designer in the development and implementation 350.org’s overarching design strategy

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
• Must be able to observe and perceive information on a computer and documents
• Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone
• Occasionally will lift up to 30lbs
• Ability to safely operate a company vehicle 
• Must be able to communicate and converse with franchisees over the phone and face to face

Work Environment 

The employee will be working in the confines of an office setting. The employee will be working in a corporate office environment. Most work will be conduct over email, video conferencing, and telephone. The successful person must be productive with minimal supervision.


Travel   

The employee will be required to travel to a few events a year including conferences and team meetings, averaging 30% and will be exposed to outdoor temperatures during travel. This position requires limited travel to conferences and team meetings.
