Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE, systems integrator, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of data networking
  • Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives
  • Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, either in a customer-facing or internal role - prior experience in a pre-sales role is ideal
  • Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements 
  • Experience selling, implementing, or managing SaaS/SASE/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings is a plus
  • Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions

About This Role

  • Experience working on, and deploying, large scale systems in Go, Java, or other high performance languages
  • Good Linux systems knowledge
  • Experience (and love) for debugging to ensure the system works in all cases
  • Strong systems level programming skills
  • Excited by the idea of optimizing complex solutions to general problems that all websites face
  • Experience with a continuous integration work flow and using source control (we use git) 

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Lua, Rust or Go (or a strong desire to learn)
  • Experience with Javascript or Typescript
  • Experience with a web server / reverse proxy system (NGINX, Apache, Varnish)

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location. For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $137,000 - $167,000.
