The Role

Amperity’s Growth Marketing team is searching for a Senior Marketing Operations Manager who can drive operational efficiency with our current marketing automation, analytics tools, and reporting. This senior-level individual contributor will be hands-on and responsible for maintaining the systems, processes, and data that supports all of Amperity’s marketing programs.

  • Manage day-to-day administration of Marketo including campaign creation, audience segmentation, smart lists, analytics, and automation of programs

About You

  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or Campaign Ops Management
  • 2+ years working in B2B SAAS, preferably reporting into a Marketing team
  • Advanced Marketo and Salesforce skills (Marketo certified a plus, but not required)
  • Experience with B2B marketing and sales technologies (Drift, 6Sense, Bizible, Outreach, GoToWebinar, Highspot, Marketo, etc.)

The Role

The Role

The Role

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager who has a passion for helping marketers turn data into real business value. In this role, you'll help define the future of activation in the Amperity platform, an area that's seen significant growth in the past few years. You'll understand the inner workings of how marketers and our team schedule and measure campaigns, which connectors matter to bring value, and how to bring it all together in a delightful experience. You'll have a passion for activation platforms, marketing organizations, and how MarTech is evolving the roles and work every day.

Interesting Problems

  • Creating elegant experiences to power campaigns at scale for some of the largest B2C brands in the world.
  • Understanding the business value of a unified customer view and making that available to our customers.
  • Finding important customer insights and helping brands take action on those insights.
  • Ingesting and cleaning large amounts of data daily and blending it with real-time events.
  • Automatically stitching data together across disparate systems by training machine-learning models to build a probabilistic knowledge graph.
  • Taking research algorithms and productionizing them for high-scale usage.
  • Allowing users to perform complex, real-time queries across an aggregated view of their data.
  • Publishing query result data to a diverse set of systems for client usage.
  • Craft a powerful and elegant user experience to make these systems accessible for humans.
  • Connect seamlessly to a wide variety of systems across marketing, analytics, and IT.
  • And working with the engineers that accomplish this flexibly, durably, and while supporting each other in a distributed working environment.

About You

  • Passion for understanding and using data to make delightful experiences for less technical users.
  • Experience working with activation or campaign systems, and understanding the complexity of orchestration across many platforms.
  • Demonstrated passion for balancing robust SaaS craftsmanship with continually shipping value to customers.
  • Experience as the primary owner for complex projects involving coordination between customers, product management, and engineering.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and investigate new technologies in a hands-on, practical manner.
  • A demonstrated success working in a fast-paced, swiftly-changing environment.
  • A demonstrated history of escalating success in your career.
  • Minimum 4-6 years experience in product management roles.

Remote Available, Seattle Preferred

Amperity has headquarters in Seattle and NYC. For this role, our preference is someone in Seattle but we are open to remote candidates. We are also currently hiring in CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MA, MN, NJ, NY, OH, OR, TX, WA.

Compensation

Base Salary: $170,000 - $234,000.Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. For qualified new hires, we generally target the middle of this range.

Cash Incentives:Cash incentives are also available.

The Role

The Senior Director, Product Marketing will be the strategic leader driving the go-to-market strategy for Amperity. Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, their primary job is to craft differentiated positioning and messaging that will break through the noise in a dynamic product category. This leader will serve as the connective tissue between the product organization and our GTM teams by operationalizing messaging into GTM plays to fuel direct sales and partner revenue. Finally, they will act as the tip of the spear of our marketing efforts, aligning their peers around market moments and product launches to drive new business and account expansion.

Interesting Problems

  • Lead and scale Amperity's product marketing division to shape our go-to-market efforts for our core platform and emerging products.
  • Own Amperity's positioning and messaging for our target persons/verticals/segments and craft breakthrough stories that help focus our corporate strategy.
  • Be the operational connective tissue between the product organization and our go-to-market teams to drive pipeline generation, revenue, and adoption.
  • Build the sales tools, enablement, and go-to-market plays with sales operations to increase sales productivity and accelerate deals through the funnel.
  • Drive our pricing and packaging strategy, championing new business models (consumption and subscription) as well as new routes to market (OEM & licensing).
  • Work closely with Business Development to craft positioning and messaging for paid media and data warehouse partners that to fuel partner sales motions.
  • Turn customers into champion by organizing and evolving Amperity's customer marketing program.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop a team of product marketing leaders and individual contributors.

About You

  • Equivalent of 10+ years' experience managing and mentoring a product marketing team in a tech company, data-oriented SaaS organization strongly preferred
  • B2B SaaS & pricing and packaging experience required
  • Strong understanding of both technical (CIO, Developers) and marketing personas
  • A strong understanding of MarTech and the data ecosystem
  • Experience operating and effectively influencing and aligning SaaS marketing teams driving outcomes across direct and partner channels
  • Prior experience building diverse teams with a strong sense of mission and belonging
  • Demonstrated customer centric mindset
  • Strong influence, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Experience building trusted relationships with executive sponsors, partners and end users
