Roles & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and actively manage the execution of multiple client initiatives and engagements – including prioritizing and reviewing deliverables
• Lead and assist with business development pursuits including marketing and sales activities (e.g., developing pitches and proposals)
• Build strong client relationships - act as the primary liaison with our clients, addressing service needs, requests, and issues
• Bring and utilize extensive knowledge of the client's business/industry to identify technological developments and evaluate impacts on the client's business.
• Identify business opportunities and help client partners obtain new accounts, assisting with bid management and contract development
• Manage, monitor, and review business operations within our firm (e.g., people / resource mgmt., engagement budget-to-actuals)
• Ability to supervise and lead engagement teams
• Understand DataCatalyst’s service lines and assess what the firm can deliver to serve clients

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of previous experience in data management, analysis, technology / solution implementation, management consulting, or another related field
• Excellence in operational execution of client engagements
• Experience in conducting workshops with client stakeholders / SMEs
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM-related field; master’s degree preferred
• Expertise and consulting skills gained from traditional management or technology consulting firms with the ability to prioritize, scope, structure, and facilitate
• Entrepreneurial spirit and can-do attitude; proactive thinker and doer
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to course-correct
• Strong MS Office skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral); the ability to tailor the message to different audiences
• Experience working within waterfall and agile SDLC frameworks
• Understanding of master data management and data governance practices
• Ability to work under pressure

Qualifications:

Job Responsibilities (as a billable consultant and as a senior member of the firm):

• Manage multiple client engagement teams at an executive level within the firm

• Experience in Data and Master Data Management (MDM) implementations is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Visio, Kanban boards, time tracking tools and collaboration tools is helpful.

• Analyze and decipher data using statistical techniques

• Perform data analytics, evaluate the quality of the data, identify and interpret trends or patterns in data sets. Act as an agent of change to help drive data best practices and the concept of data as an asset

• Participate in data analysis, as well as in the design of data and mapping requirements 

• Work with SMEs and business representatives to understand current data and define the appropriate mapping; resolving discrepancies during data definition as well as providing testing support.

• Work with cross functional teams to provide missing data and cleanse data

• Contribute to the development of the migration rules, documenting these rules, developing user test cases for migration test runs, testing the rules during the migration runs.

• Collect and formulate business requirements via interviews and user discussions

• Document functional requirements, business processes, use-cases and other project artifacts

• Write, execute and debug SQL queries to confirm data completeness, correctness, data transformation and data quality testing     

• Leverage industry profiling tools (SAP Information Steward) 

• Create data scorecards within Information Steward for inbound data feeds

• Create, define and document maps for inbound data feeds to internal targets using industry toolsets

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, information management, or statistics

• 2-3 years of data management experience

• Good knowledge of data profiling tools and analytical methods

• Experience with SQL or equivalent database querying language

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Critical thinker who can optimally identify, fix and solve problems

• Perform basic profiling of incoming data to confirm that the data is as expected based on the definition of the data
• Act as a subject matter expert to support data analysts in data mapping activities
• Suggest data quality rules based on knowledge of industry standards. (e.g., understanding the information embedded in a CUSIP 6 and using it to craft data quality checks)
• Supporting data definition and metadata capture of inbound data feeds
• Collaborate with client IT stakeholders to execute complex data and mapping analyses
• Use mapping and statistical software (e.g. GIS, Python, Tableau) to clean, manage, and analyze data
• Participates in analysis, design, and potentially ETL development as part of Agile / Scrum Development Team

Qualifications

Requirements/Qualifications:
