Purpose of Job

The purpose of this job is to operate the Physical Security System and maintain the safety of employees, equipment and building facilities.   Responsibilities include operating subsystem and physical security system, processing badges for personnel, providing employee escorts and maintaining records, as well as assisting the Security Technician as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this job.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.   Other duties may be required and assigned.

Operates the Physical Security System and the data processing subsystem.

Ensures compliance with physical security policies and procedures in every aspect of Georgia Lottery Corporation operations.

Processes and controls access badges and identification cards for Georgia Lottery Corporation as assigned.

Prepares special reports such as the following: Card Reader Reports, Access Level Reports, Blocked Ticket Reports, Employee File Reports, Daily Activity Report, Incident and Software Incident Reports. 

Provides security and other needed assistance with GLC sponsored events.

Ensures the proper and timely delivery of on-line gaming reports and data tapes; retrieves game reports from the on-line vendor, relays figures generated by the on-line vendor to the Georgia Lottery Corporation Data Center.

Assists with investigations of violations and misconduct against the GLC and investigations regarding security 

matters when Physical Security System records and other related information is required.

Confers with Retailers, Retail specialists, Investigators, Contractors, Security Managers, and others as necessary to receive and relay information, answer inquiries, and provide assistance. 

When trained, incumbent will assist in the maintenance and testing of all draw equipment

When trained, incumbent will repair draw equipment as needed or as may be listed in defective draw equipment reports.

Assist in remote draw events to ensure equipment if operating properly.

Participate as requested by Security Technician.


Minimum Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions

High School diploma (or GED) required, additional training in security, access control systems, computer applications or other related field preferred.   Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty (50) pounds at a time and to work one of two fixed 10-hour shifts (covering GLC operational hours from 4:45 a.m. to 1:15 a.m.).  One or more years of security/law enforcement experience required; excellent written and verbal communication skills a plus, along with good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks.  Working knowledge of Microsoft applications and valid Georgia driver’s license required.  Any equivalent combination of skills, training and experience that provides the requisite background for this position may be considered.

Purpose of Job
 
The main purpose of this job is to prepare for and perform quality assurance acceptance testing activities on all major gaming software releases.  This job prepares for and performs testing on other external vendor software applications and internal software applications.  It is also responsible for providing support by acting as a Subject Matter Expert for various applications and performing other duties as required for the Games Administration department.  
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 
The following duties are normal for this position.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.
 
Assists in the preparation of gaming system vendor software acceptance testing and other external vendor software acceptance testing by reviewing vendor software specifications, writing test cases, developing test scenarios, developing test procedures, and maintaining internal testing databases. 
 
Executes manual and automated testing procedures using software tools.
 
Maintain software defect tracking database and coordinate software install timelines.
 
Prepares and maintains test documentation as directed.
 
Performs Functional testing on all software releases to verify system works according to the Functional Specifications.
 
Performs Regression testing on all software releases to verify new functionality does not adversely affect current functionality.
 
Performs Anomaly testing on all software releases.
 
Performs browser compatibility and operating system testing on various web-based user interfaces.
 
Performs Mobile Application testing on various mobile devices.
 
Performs complete testing on all internally developed software applications as directed.
 
Provide level 2 help desk support for various applications such as the Sales Force Automation software application by answering questions, researching issues, identifying problems, and providing solutions.
 
Performs various operational verification checks of designated systems.
 
Develop and maintain “Subject Matter Expert” knowledgebase for various software applications by working closely with various business units to become more familiar with how the software application is applied.  Must be able to quickly respond to questions, support issues and requests for information/enhancement requests related to these applications.
 
Prepares, maintains and updates databases, spreadsheets, files and logs following prescribed methods and procedures.
 
 
Training and Experience Required to Perform Essential Job Functions
 
Bachelor's degree preferred, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.  A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in software quality assurance testing, computer programming, systems analysis, business analysis or data analysis is required. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience of web and mobile app testing. Experience working with Waterfall or Agile system development lifecycle. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience of reviewing Use Cases / Requirements to develop test cases. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to understand technical concepts as they relate to software applications.  Must possess the analytical capability to create and execute acceptance tests while maintaining proper documentation for tracking results.  Must be able to understand, review and implement basic Accounting Principles.  Experience working with test case management tools (i.e. Zephyr, HP Quality Center). Experience working with issue tracking tools like Jira or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Compensation: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
