Acquia is actively seeking a Product Owner of Product Management to join our Monsido web governance team. The Monsido Platform includes a cohesive suite of tools for web accessibility, website quality assurance, brand and content compliance, user consent management, social and web content archiving.
This position will be reporting directly to the Director of Product Management.
What you will bring
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability acting as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, and/or Product Manager.
- Relevant certification such as CSPO, PSPO, PMP, etc.
- Exceptional Communicator: Be able to explain “why” to various partners in a clear, and open way.
- Tenacious ability to prioritize: drown out the noise by demonstrating data, and listening to our customers and partners to know what needs to be built to tackle complex problems in the simplest way.
- Detail Oriented: You understand the details and you will ensure all relevant requirements are gathered, understood, and communicated.
- Scrum or Agile Experience.
- Bonus points: Understanding of web accessibility, CMS and/or DXP platform
How you will lead
- Work directly with the Product Manager along with other members of the organization to execute our strategy and vision
- Be a leader, and motivate your team to achieve sprint goals and objectives
- Work closely with the Product Manager to create and maintain a product backlog according to customer value
- Ensure engineering, product, and design are aligned on the roadmap goals and priorities to achieve our desired customer outcomes
- Work cross-functionally with Business stakeholders, Operations, Product Manager, UX, and engineering team throughout the project lifecycle to successfully build and launch new capabilities
- Groom & prioritize backlog into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support the engineering team with clear requirements ahead of the sprint - from concept to execution.
- Ensure the product is aligned with the company vision by offering insights, answering team queries, and providing clarifications.
- Lead the planning of product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities including QA testing.
