We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Innovation and Strategy team. This position will play a pivotal role in bringing to life products and experiences that are desirable by customers, feasible to create, and viable for the bank.

Essential functions of the role:

Research

• Proactively stay up to date on trends related to customer behavior, competitive activity, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies
• Use insights to contribute to the bank’s product roadmap and/or company strategy

Product Discovery

• Use input from customer insights, data, industry, and company strategy to find customer problems worth solving
• Effectively leverage Design Thinking principles through the product discovery: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test
• Ensure desirability, feasibility, and viability of product concepts
• Define product requirements, features, and specifications
• Conduct product design, including buy/build analysis
• Construct and communicate effective business cases

Product Delivery

• Drive cross-functional execution of identified solutions, including Go-to-Market approach
• Partner with stakeholders such as Risk/Compliance, Marketing, Finance, Technology, Data, Operations, Sales, and external vendor partners to deliver products
• Ensure effective communication, alignment, and collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders through the entire product development lifecycle

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Advocate for the bank and its customers to ensure products meet customer needs
• Lead cross-functional teams towards goals without having direct formal authority

• Bachelors degree required or equivalent combination of experience and education
• 5+ years in banking, finance, technology, product, or similar
• Experience generating effective product insights from customer conversations and surveys required
• Understanding of financial products and concepts required
• Basic data analysis proficiency preferred
• Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software required

• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data analytics
• Follow data governance standards in documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Present findings to business partners in a clear and concise manner, tailoring the communication to their level of understanding and needs
• Other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field or business degree, or level of education that, together with industry experience, enables the applicant to meet the job requirements
• Experience with a BI visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI is required
• Experience with SQL query is preferred
• Experience with Python or PySpark is preferred
• Familiarity with Azure cloud environment is preferred
• Familiarity with Databricks is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences
