About the Design Specialist position

The role of the Design Specialist is to utilize design experience to advance 350.org’s Public Engagement’ objectives and support regional and global visual content projects. The ideal candidate will be an experienced graphic designer with secure and swift design skills across a range of fields (web design, editorial design, branding, information design, digital & social media design). The Design Specialist supports the Senior Designer in producing design outputs either directly or through a network of practitioners.

Satisfying the role described above will require performing the following responsibilities:

  • Design strategy: 
    • Supports the Senior Designer in the development and implementation 350.org’s overarching design strategy
    • Support 350.org’s global visual identity and coordinate unique brand identities for global & regional projects. 
  • Design systems & process support: 
    • Collaborate with web developers to define and design websites, user flows, user interactions, UI elements, site pathways and navigation patterns to ensure user engagement, accessibility and inclusivity.
    • Support, educate and empower 350.org’s staff to be good visual communicators by providing them with basic training and resources.

Required Qualifications 

  • At least two(2) years of relevant experience in visual design, preferably on web design
  • Excellent teamwork, creative thinking, problem solving and management skills
  • Ability to manage self and others with proven mentorship ability

Desired (but not required) skills and experiences 

  • Proficient in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Figma and Canva)
  • Strong portfolio of design projects on progressive issues or campaigns
  • Experience in user interface/UI element design 
  • Experience on data visualization and/or motion graphics is a plus
  • Experience working remotely
  • Experience working in nongovernmental organization or nonprofit sector
  • Professional experience in an international and/or multi-cultural environment
  • Experience and competency working in multicultural groups

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both independently and in teams, highly responsive, and able to lead initiatives as well as take direction from others.

The Marketing Events Leader provides tradeshow, conference & sponsorship support to the Marketing and Business Development Teams on projects that support and maximize value for Paul Davis Brand.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure corporate brand presence at national and regional trade shows, conferences, and sponsorships
• Book booth space, register corporate attendees, order promo items, collateral and manage any purchases related to booth needs and advertising opportunities within strict deadlines
• Manage shipment of available marketing material to different initiatives
• Track & report marketing materials distributed to local offices by vertical
• Track and measure ROI from event collaborations with Business Development (Luxor)
• Efficiently communicate with franchisor and franchisee team members on specific event needs
• Consistently be proactive and efficiently support the marketing team and coordinate requests
• Use design software (Adobe InDesign, Canva, Photoshop) to update template content and assist with content curation for marketing materials
• Assist with compiling and organizing design files/photo library while distributing design content as needed

The employee will be required to travel to a few events a year including conferences and team meetings, averaging 30% and will be exposed to outdoor temperatures during travel. This position requires limited travel to conferences and team meetings.

Job Description

The Design Team at Kasa is looking for an experiencedHungary - based Freelancer Graphic Designerwith a background in traditional graphic design including print, layout, physical signage, way finding, and other printed collateral. Extra points for experience with hospitality-specific hospitality specific applications, and package design. Logo and identity design work creating newnet-new visual identities and/or extending or rebranding existing design systems is also a plus. 

This role will primarily support creating physical signage for our properties including exterior branding, welcome, and way finding signage, common space signage, and interior instructional and way finding signage, as well as in-room collateral. 

This role will also support Design leadership and various teams at Kasa by creating internal, guest-facing guest facing (B2C), and partner- specific (B2B) digital presentation presentations decks, style guides, and other digital assets. Depending on experience level, there is also an opportunity for this role to make a significant impact on the visual brand at large through extending and iterating on the existing brand design system.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Brand and Design.

Responsibilities

Day to Day

  • Use existing brand design system and style guidelines to create requested physical signage and collateral assets (such as in-room print pieces and on-site wayfinding) for Kasa properties.
  • Use existing brand design system and style guidelines to create requested digital assets, such as presentation decks, case studies, and web design elements for various departments at Kasa.
  • Create slides and digital signage for guest- facing screens within Kasa properties.
  • Occasionally support marketing by creating assets for print/digital ads and/or social media.

Potential Projects

  • Reorganize and refine existing Kasa brand design guidelines and style guides for better consistency of design across projects and ease of use by yourself and other designers.
  • Create a “signage catalog” of plug-and-play physical signage design templates for new Kasa properties to increase speed, efficiency and design consistency when creating new property signage at Kasa.
  • Design updated in-unit collateral and packaging to enhance guest experience and upscale brand perception.
  • Design concise and compelling case-study digital “cards” for the Kasa Partners website
  • Create a unified Master Template with defined styles, colors, and assets in Google Slides for creating future B2B and internal Kasa presentations.
  • Design digital and physical “City Guides” for Kasa guests.
  • Create a library of templates and pre-made brand/graphic assets in a company-wide Canva “Brand Kit” for departments to “self-serve” in creating low-impact or temporary assets for property events or operations projects.
  • Provide feedback on the creation of and aid in the populating of assets in, an updated company-wide company wide Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Propose updates, modification, and extensions to the Kasa brand design system and style guide to enhance and “upscale” the visual aesthetic of the brand.

    • Measurement: As measured by changes in guest feedback and guest ratings as well as NQS score once your work has been implemented at a specific property.
  • Completed work being free of spelling and grammatical errors.
    • Measurement: As measured by the number of errors found in work during prepress or after handoff. (Content doesn’t have to be perfect for internal critics, though you will share responsibility with any contributing copywriters for “shipped” or printed work being “clean” of errors.)

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as a graphic designer.
  • At least 2+ of those years must be in creating printed design collateral that was actually produced and used in real life situations.
  • Basic knowledge of physical printing for design projects. E.g. materials (paper stocks, substrates), printing processes, print finishings, embellishments, and coatings and how digital coluorswill translate (or not) onto various physical printed materials.
  • A keen eye for design and aesthetics.
  • Basic copywriting skills (English) capable of identifying off-brand or confusing content.
  • An eye for detail that looks out for content and design mistakes and suggests solutions.
  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign
  • Proficient in a vector-based vector based design program such as Adobe Illustrator and/or Figma.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (ILR Level 3 or above).
  • Comfortable using Notion or other  task tracking and project management system.
  • Skilled in designing for both print and digital mediums, with a good understanding of the unique requirements of each.
  • Communicates effectively and independently with team members, understanding project requirements, providing updates, and gathering feedback.
  • Takes responsibility for managing schedules, workloads, and meeting deadlines.

Dans le cadre de notre développement, nous recherchons un Responsable de la Production Graphique en CDI sur notre site de production de La Plaine Saint Denis. 

Vous encadrerez une équipe de graphistes et de concepteurs DA en charge de la création et de la réalisation des bannières de ventes sur notre site Showroomprive.com. 

Au quotidien, vos missions sont : 

  •  Management d'une équipe d’une dizaine de personnes + Freelances 
  •  Gestion des recrutements et entretiens 
  •  Suivi administratif des embauches et équipes 
  •  Suivi des tableaux de productions 
  •  Validation des créas, en respectant la charte graphique et l’identité visuelle de SRP 
  •  Gestion des plannings horaires (permanences) 
  •  Gestion des congés et roulements 
  •  Organisation des formations des nouveaux collaborateurs ou personnel interne 
  •  Échanges et négociations avec le pôle Achat 
  •  Fermeture de la production (s’assurer que toutes les ventes du jour sont traitées et chargées) 
  •  Veille constante et propositions d’amélioration continue 
  •  Anticipation et solutions 
  •  Garantir le respect des bonnes pratiques et des processus 
  •  Accompagner les équipes et les nouveaux arrivants 
  •  Formaliser le suivi de ses collaborateurs (processus d’intégration, besoins et suivi des formations, entretiens et indicateurs de performance) 

Le poste et les missions sont amenés à évoluer en fonction des besoins et de l’organisation du service. 

Qualifications

Diplômé en webdesign/graphisme/multimédia, vous disposez d’une expérience significative dans la gestion d’une équipe de graphistes, idéalement dans le secteur du web. 

Vous avez une très bonne maîtrise des logiciels Photoshop, Illustrator. La maitrise d’InDesign et des logiciels 3D est un plus. Vous êtes créatif, inventif et constamment à l’affut des tendances. 

Vous possédez une importante culture web, graphique et mode, vous avez de bonnes qualités relationnelles et aimez travailler en équipe. Vous êtes rigoureux, organisé et aimez évoluer dans un environnement rythmé par les deadlines courtes et des objectifs ambitieux. Une connaissance des techniques de management et une expérience de 4 à 10 ans est souhaitée.
