Vous interviendrez dans les équipes de Anthony OGIER, Manager et Tech Lead au sein de notre Digital Factory, en tant que développeur craftsman sur des architectures Cloud, en environnement CI/CD pour mettre en œuvre vos connaissances sur la stack technique suivante :

  • Backend : Java, Sprint Boot, Spring Cloud
  • Front : TypeScript ou JavaScript 
  • Testing : TDD, BDD (Cucumber)
  • CI/CD : DevOps et déploiement Cloud (Azure ou AWS), Git, Ansible / Terraform, SonarQube, Apache, Maven, Gradle, Docker

Vous serez amené à :

  • Collaborer avec les utilisateurs finaux afin de comprendre leurs besoins et développer une vision commune du produit
  • Participer avec le QA et le PO à la rédaction des BDD
  • Participer aux différentes cérémonies agiles
  • Participer avec le techlead aux différentes phases d’analyse et de conception technique
  • Implémenter les différentes tâches tout en respectant les principes du clean code
  • Participer aux revues de codes et proposer des améliorations de la qualité du code et de l'architecture
  • Préparer et présenter les démos aux utilisateurs finaux
  • Mettre en place des stratégies de testing
  • Travailler sur l’amélioration continue des pratiques de craftsmanship et de clean code de l’équipe

  • Agir en qualité de référent technique et aider les plus juniors dans leurs tâches techniques

The Position

You'll be joining 250 engineers across Frontend, Backend, SRE and QA. We're organised into cross-functional development teams assigned to specific product areas. Regardless of the specific team you will be joining, you will be working on building features, tools, APIs and integrations for one of our products.

Our backend is built with Elixir and Phoenix, with a Postgres database. We use React and Nextjs for our frontend. Gitlab is used as a version control tool and a CI/CD solution. Our applications are hosted on AWS. We fully rely on our CI for deployments and deploy multiple times per day.

We're organized into cross-functional development teams assigned to specific verticals and as the first Principal Engineer at Remote, you will partner closely with 15 staff engineers across the business.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $98,650 to $222,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

Role Overview

The Merchant Experience team at Recharge is responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining merchant administration user experiences. The merchant experience ecosystem sits at the intersection of many core product feature areas that help merchants manage orders, subscriptions, customers, products, discounts, bundles, collections, and more. This is a high-impact, high-visibility feature team and will keep you very close to the end user experiences.

 

In this role, you will be a core contributor to ensuring the merchant experience is one that is modern, performant, and reliable for merchant administrators. You will develop, maintain, and debug features across the merchant experience stack, enabling product vision to come to life. You will collaborate to clarify, theorize, figure out, and decide solutions to complex problems closely with your team. THE ROLE

What you'll do
This is a newly found team focused on building out our brand-new vector database offering, designed to let you build full-stack, AI-powered applications entirely on Cloudflare’s global network. In this role, you will work with a top-notch engineering team to expand Cloudflare's capabilities by ensuring continual reliability, maintaining best-in-class performance, and implementing new features and functionality.

You will own your code from inception to release, delivering solutions at all layers of the software stack to empower Cloudflare customers. On any given day, you might write a design document that outlines how you plan to solve a specific problem, modify how R2 Storage processes requests, or fix a bug in how our user experience renders. You can expect to interact with a variety of languages and technologies including, but not limited to Typescript, Go, Rust.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • 5+ years experience working with distributed systems or developing on cloud platforms.
  • Experience managing high volume software applications.
  • Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented or functional design.

What you'll do

Cloudflare is a distributed system and provides infrastructure that spans the globe, on a mission to make the internet better, safer, and more performant everyday. As one of the systems optimization engineers working on the Cloudflare Infrastructure team you will need to make thoughtful infrastructure systems, both Hardware (HW) and Software (SW), optimization choices affecting a significant portion of the Internet. 

Our team focuses on evaluating and delivering new infrastructure and optimizing our current/future infrastructure enabling the best use and efficiency of our compute, storage, and network. As an Infrastructure Systems (HW/SW) Optimization Engineer, you will work with colleagues across our Hardware System Engineering team and with our internal partners - Software Engineering, Production/Performance Engineering, Product teams, and Sourcing teams to drive optimization experiments, evaluate and tune our software stack for greater efficiency of our current hardware infrastructure and help and inform decisions, based on software and workload performance, on new hardware/architectures being deployed.

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

  • Confidence to work in multiple programming languages - including C/C++, Go, Rust, Java, Python, Lua and other high performance languages
  • Experience (and love) for debugging to ensure the system works in all cases
  • Strong systems level programming skills
  • Excellent Linux operating system knowledge, patches to Operating Systems, and lightweight virtualization/VMM knowledge is a huge plus
  • Excited by the idea of optimizing complex distributed systems, discovering system bottlenecks and proposing solutions to solve in current system architecture or to inform future software/hardware development
  • Experience with a continuous integration workflow and using source control (we use git)

About the Department

Cloudflare’s Engineering Team builds and runs the software that handles large amounts of requests on the Internet today. We also build and run the internal tools and platforms that run that software. Individual engineering teams are typically responsible for large areas with considerable impact, and able to execute autonomously within that space to deliver value to their customers - be they internal or external. 

Many of Cloudflare’s critical internal services run on Kubernetes. These services include those responsible for Cloudflare’s control plane and APIs, data analytics and other internal tools used to manage our global network. These Kubernetes platforms are purpose-built from the ground up and run on bare metal Linux in different regions around the world. The scale we work at involves tens of thousands of containers and terabits per second of network traffic. The team takes pride in knowing this platform helps run parts of the global Internet.

About the team and the role

The Engineering Platform and Productivity team has a charter to build a self-service, resilient, and scalable platform using a combination of Open Source projects, intellectual property, and internal infrastructure. The charter includes to build tools and services that help easily integrate a base set of capabilities into Cloudflare’s products. These services have cross cutting concerns that 100s of fellow engineers use as the building blocks at Cloudflare. The team also writes services that is redundant for each product development team to build and that serve high volumes of requests every day.

As an engineer in the Engineering Productivity and Platforms organization, you'll be building and managing tools to help engineers deploy and operate the services that make Cloudflare work. Our mission is to provide a reliable, yet flexible, platform to help product teams release new software efficiently and safely. The role includes both software engineering and DevOps operational responsibilities. The ideal candidate will care deeply about providing other engineers with an excellent development experience.

Software Engineering (Intern)  | Acorns

Acorns is seeking motivated Software Engineering Interns specializing in web and backend development to join our team for a 10-week internship. In this role, you'll play a key part in developing innovative solutions that harness the power of artificial intelligence to address real-world challenges. Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to manage our data warehouse and the pipelines that feed to/from that warehouse. This requires advanced knowledge of our systems, processes, data structures, and existing tooling. The secondary responsibility will be administering our production OLTP database to ensure it runs smoothly and using standard/best practices.

The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is extremely comfortable with the latest technology, trends, and favors concrete execution over abstract ideation. We are proudly impartial when it comes to solutions – we like to try new things and the best idea is always the winning idea, regardless of the way we’ve done it previously.

This is a full-time work-from-home position.

Qualifications

The following characteristics are necessary for a qualified applicant to be considered:

  • 3+ years of experience working with data warehouses (BigQuery preferred, Redshift, Snowflake, etc)

  • 3+ years of experience working with dbt, ETL (Fivetran, Airbyte, etc), and Reverse ETL (Census) solutions 

  • 3+ years of experience with Database Administration (Azure SQL, Query Profiler, Redgate, etc)

  • 1+ years of experience with BI/Visualization tools (Google Data/Looker Studio, Tableau, etc)

  • Experience with PubSub databases, specifically Google Cloud Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database

  • Experience with Github (or other similar version control systems) and CI/CD pipeline tools like Azure Devops and Github actions

  • Ability to communicate fluently, pleasantly, and effectively—both orally and in writing, in the English language—with customers and co-workers.

  • Concrete examples and evidence of work product and what role the applicant played in it
