The fraud landscape is constantly changing, and a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t do enough to stop today’s sophisticated fraudsters. We use a unique combination of data, analytics and technology to create right-sized fraud solutions that allow our clients to make confident decisions for every transaction. Our ultimate goal is to make the industry’s fraud and identity solutions work better for everyone around the world.  

Reporting to the Senior Director of Strategy, you’ll manage all aspects of the software product development lifecycle for one or more of Experian’s global fraud products, starting with product planning and product vision, development of the product and through post-release management. You'll focus heavily on client interactions and working with internal teams.

If you’ve worked with fraud management software and know the industry, we would really love to speak with you. Position can be fully remote or hybrid in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area where much of the team is based.

Please note, we have openings for two areas:

Experian Ascend Fraud Attributes- identity graph-based fraud detection and identity confidence solutions

Device Solutions and Collectors- our tools for gathering data on customer devices to catch potential fraudulent scenarios

  • Define and drive the roadmap for identity graph-based fraud detection and identity confidence solutions, or for Device and Collectors solutions
  • Become the market expert and help identify future fraud detection capabilities 
  • Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ by gathering business and market requirements from prospects, customers, domain experts, technology visionaries, and products/solutions from competing vendors 
  • Own the specifications that will guide the engineering team developing and testing the product 
  • Partner with various business stakeholders to ensure the product meets security, legal, compliance, delivery, GTM standards and expectations 
  • Work with third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities 
  • Perform product demos to internal and external audiences, and train regional sales and field experts to do the same 
  • Ensure product quality by working closely with the QA department and triaging escalated Support tickets 
  • Perform competitive analysis as to how this product is behaving in the market, vis-à-vis other products catering to the same/similar customer segments 
  • Solicit features and benefits from the users of the software product, users of competitive products, and from market analysts 
  • Maintain familiarity with fraud mitigation processes and the daily workings of a fraud-mitigation department 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in role-relevant field; MBA is a plus 
  • 5+ years of software Product Management experience (fraud and identity software strongly preferred) 
  • Strong Release Management leadership experience in an Agile development environment (Software as a Service experience is a plus) 
  • Experience influencing and earning the trust of senior stakeholders and moving cross-functional business teams to act swiftly
  • Knowledge of the fraud and identity market and competitive landscape
  • Superior communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, autonomous thinker who is also a strong teammate
  • Capable of establishing relationships and working effectively with diverse disciplines, from Engineering to Sales
  • Experience and comfort level working directly with clients
  • Strong technical acumen – you don’t need coding experience but must speak the language
  • Expertise using JIRA and Confluence to capture and prioritize release requirements
  • Travel may be required- 5%-10% at most
  • Desired: Pragmatic Marketing or similar product management certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
  • Proven analytical skills to resolve technical problems effectively, identify and implement process improvements, and think creatively.
  • Intermediate level skill set in SQL programming (Transact SQL).  Snowflake experience a plus.

Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 daysper week (or more depending on role). The same office expectations apply to all Symmetry roles, Gusto's subsidiary, whose physical office is in Scottsdale.

Note: The San Francisco office expectations encompass both the San Francisco and San Jose metro areas.

Quality Engineer

At Acquia, quality engineering drives the quality tool chain and process in an open and collaborative environment. To ensure that we have a repeatable process and systems to thoroughly test and uncover defects, quality engineering uses best of breed tools for automation and testing frameworks in conjunction with in-house tooling, infrastructure and services.  Quality engineers are embedded in each agile development team to facilitate and own the testing strategy, and test automation requirements for every iteration and release. The quality engineering team also regularly meets to review and improve overall testing processes, automation, innovations and standard methodologies. Each quality engineer works both independently and as part of a product group, where developers write tests and the quality engineering team supports the testing infrastructure and automation. In addition, they provide mentorship for best practices and develop testing systems for smoke testing, behavioral testing, stress testing, performance testing, as well as supporting quality metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work together with product managers, agile product owners, architects, tech leads and engineers to ensure the quality of our products
  • Participate in technical discussions for products and test infrastructure
  • Implement Quality best practices, tools, and methodologies
  • Identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated test solutions
  • Constantly evaluate the test automation strategy and approach to identify areas of improvement (i.e. test automation frameworks, coding standards, etc.)
  • Participate with developers in writing prolific test case code using Ruby, PHP, Java, Go, etc
  • Build and maintain efficient test frameworks and pipelines for performance, stress, and integration tests
  • Work in an agile model as part of a team to develop fully automated test cases for functional, unit, and integration testing
  • Take a hands-on approach to implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, implementation, automation, execution, maintenance and analysis

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of hands on experience working on QA automation including functional, system, integration and regression testing
  • Experience in developing test automation for Backend applications
  • Proficient with backend API automation, tools/framework development necessary for the same 
  • Strong hands on knowledge about testing concepts and understanding of database concepts, OOPs concepts and strong in core Java skills
  • Strong proven understanding of various test types including client/server, white-box, black-box and positive/negative
  • Proven test design skills, test case writing, automation and analysis
  • 1-3 years programming experience in any of the web languages (go, php, ruby, java) or equivalent
  • Experience with shell to apply command line tools
  • Experience with continuous integration and build tools (i.e. Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Travis)
