Description:

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience building complex web applications

About the role

The base salary hiring range for this position is $108,900 to $189,700. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.

Role Overview 
We are seeking a motivated Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team and drive the execution of our enterprise sales strategy in collaboration with our sales organization. As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical resource during the pre-sales process, guiding technical sales discussions, conducting product demonstrations, and advising on best practices for implementing our tools. Your expertise will be instrumental in generating sales opportunities and providing a consultative approach throughout the enterprise sales process.
 

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the primary technical leader and trusted advisor to our enterprise sales team and prospects.
  • Engage directly with prospects to demonstrate the value of our technology throughout the sales cycle, from demo to proof of concept to design and implementation.
  • Prepare for and lead technical discussions with various stakeholders, ranging from executive-level business leaders to software engineers.
  • Consult with prospects to provide technical insight and guidance on the best go-to-market strategies utilizing our products.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the eCommerce & retail industries and Shopify ecosystem, continually evaluating how to position our offerings during the sales cycle.
  • Represent Recharge at industry trade shows, conferences, and third-party sponsorships, showcasing our products and expertise.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, and Enablement teams to enhance our products and enablement strategies.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in a Sales Engineering role within the eCommerce or retail industry.
  • Ability to solve customer-specific business problems and apply Recharge solutions effectively.
  • Strong customer-facing skills to communicate our vision to technical and executive audiences.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pre-sales or post-sales technical role, working with customers.
  • Strong understanding of programming and debugging, as well as REST APIs and Webhooks (Python or Javascript preferred)
  • Experience with data architecture and data analytics
  • An understanding of the eCommerce industry and strong technical sales background
  • Great oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to see prospects.

About the Role

The Zendesk Administrator - Customer Support Systems will be responsible for working across teams and organizations to ensure that the architecture and design are of high quality, stable, scalable, and reliable. You would drive the technical design and best engineering practices through design reviews, architecture reviews, user validation activities, and business customer interactions.

In this role, you will: 

  • Manage, design, configure, test, deploy, and support the Customer Support ecosystem comprised of Zendesk, Twilio, Assembled, AgentConnect, and many other technologies
  • Partner with Business Systems Analysts and Product Managers to shape product definition and requirements so that configurations or interfaces can be built in a flexible, extensible, and robust way in addition to assisting in driving technology vision, strategy, and roadmap to build enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability, etc.)
  • Lead and mentor technical teams in a continuous Agile approach of integration dev/deploy format
  • Create, update, and manage tasks & stories in JIRA to support day-to-day requests, system issues, and timelines

  • Monitor any incidents/outages with Zendesk and share with the audience while taking ownership of the resolution
  • Partner with the software vendors, staying up to date on the new features and technologies, driving and performing the assessment of features for business applicability, and implementing the features.
  • Implement state of art monitoring to maintain the systems 100% up time
  • Provide on-call support as per the team roster

Minimum requirements for the role:

  • 4+ years of Zendesk experience as an administrator of the system
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
  • Strong experience and understanding of Zendesk and out-of-the-box features and capabilities
  • Previous hands-on experience developing mid-tier API systems merging different third-party systems together. Experience with the Zendesk API suite is a huge plus
  • Ability to write technical specifications, define business solutions, and convey ideas to business users in a meaningful yet insightful manner is extremely important
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills and proven success in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Samsara’s Compensation Philosophy:Samsara’s compensation program is designed to deliver Total Direct Compensation (based on role, level, and geography) that is at or above market. We do this through our base salary + bonus/variable + restricted stock unit awards (RSUs) for eligible roles.  For eligible roles, a new hire RSU award may be awarded at the time of hire, and additional RSU refresh grants may be awarded annually. 

We pay for performance, and top performers in eligible roles may receive above-market equity refresh awards which allow employees to achieve higher market positioning.

The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is below. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including your city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

About the Software Developer Position 

Our product team is looking for a hands-on Software Developer to contribute to our technology stack. It will be a key position in 350.org’s Product Team - a team dedicated to providing the right tools at the right time, and to empowering 350 staff to use them for maximum possible impact in the world.

As a global grassroots organisation, our sites and platforms are multilingual and the content is generally maintained by staff outside the Product Team. We use web, sms, whatsapp and other channels to reach out supporters. Different regions rely on different communication channels - we aim to support them all.

You’ll be developing solutions and tools for organizers on the ground, digital campaigners and local groups and affiliates.  To be successful you’ll need to combine and integrate tools, get data where it needs to be and create workflows that meet users where they are - not force them to adapt to the software.

Flexible - remote. But must be located within 5 hours (+/-) of GMT. For example, in one of the following timezones: North, Central and South America, Europe and Africa. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Front end development using HTML5 / CSS and modern javascript.
  • Creating templates for campaigners to create petitions and other campaigning tactics.
  • Advising on tools/tactics and product design
  • Leading usability and accessibility efforts
  • Providing day-to-day support to campaigners and organizers 
  • Building standalone experiments/prototypes with diverse platforms and technologies.
  • Completing projects on time, while ensuring they meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborating with designers and campaigners, building excellent relationships and results.
  • Making sure our systems collect data in an organized and useful way, making sure stakeholders are aware of what’s possible and how to achieve it.

The Role

The Dyrt is seeking a talented Quality Assurance professional with both mobile app and website testing experience to join our team as we solve exciting new problems in the outdoor space. In this role, you’ll be working to validate that our software meets the given requirements and quality standards, and report on the overall state of software quality for our entire solution.

This position will support multiple development teams and projects and report to the Head of Engineering. You will directly interact with 6 other engineers, the product manager, the design team, and the support team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the product, design, and development teams to plan, implement, test, and release new product features.
  • Report on the health and quality of our products to company leadership
  • Perform a root-cause-analyses (RCA) on issues reported internally and externally
  • Validate completed development tasks and report findings throughout the product life cycle
  • Write test automation for new and existing features
  • Test release candidate builds to ensure proper feature sets and functionality prior to pushing the big green button

Experience and Requirements

  • Experience at a fast-paced startup.
  • 3+ years of Software Quality Assurance in either a manual or automation-heavy environment
  • A fundamental understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology and how QA functions within it
  • Familiarity with Quality Assurance terminology, methods, and tools (Jira, Confluence, Github Actions, Branches, commits, pull requests, Local Branch management)
  • A strong knowledge of app, web, and cloud technologies
  • A solid understanding of what information should be included in Bug Reports - log files, network captures, screen captures, steps to reproduce, etc. Creating, Moving and Linking tickets.
  • Experience with native mobile app testing, devices, and debugging tools on both Android and iOS (Side loading apps / files, Native System Settings, Simulators/Emulators, Testflight, Capturing screenshots/videos)
  • Experience with Web APIs (JSON API, Models, CRUD calls and their responses, Postman, Performance Testing)
  • Documentation and Planning experience (Writing test documentation, creating test plans/cases/scenarios)
  • Familiarity with Google Office suite (Google Drive / Spreadsheets / Docs / Slide)
  • Experience with Release Management (publication, communication, verification).

Extra Credit

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Java, or other programming languages
  • Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber BDD frameworks
  • Property management or property bookings experience
