Responsibilities:
•    Lead the development and execution of the enterprise data strategy:

Qualifications:
•    15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and data management.
•    Proven track record of successfully designing and implementing complex data solutions.
•    In-depth knowledge of data modeling techniques, data governance principles, and data security best practices.
•    Expertise in various data management technologies, including data warehousing, data lakes, ETL/ELT tools, and data integration platforms.
•    Strong understanding of cloud computing and its implications for data management.
•    Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to educate and engage in architectural and requirements analysis discussions.

  • Be responsible for working closely with project team and raising risks. You will manage risks to mitigation, resolution, or acceptance.
  • Engage with senior management and playback options and opportunities considering time cost and quality.
  • Be accountable to ensure that any design, build and decommissioning and archive of.
  • Partner with product teams, data analysts and engineering teams to build foundational data sets that are trusted, well understood, and aligned with business strategy. 
  • Will improve existing systems, including what areas have gaps that need to be filled, and have started working with the team and stakeholders to scope and prioritize solutions.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with over 12 years of Data Architecture and Data Engineering experience, including team leadership
  • Proven expertise in designing data platforms for large-scale data and diverse data architectures, including warehouses, lakehouses, and integrated data stores
  • We are open to proficiency in a variety of technologies: SQL, Bash, Python, Java, Presto, Spark, AWS, DataOps, DevSecOps, data streaming like Kafka, RabbitMQ, data stacks like Airflow, Databricks, dbt, and data stores like Cassandra, Aurora, ZooKeeper
  • Experience with data security (including PHI and PII), as well as data privacy regulations (CCPA and GDPR)
  • Proficient in addressing data-related challenges through analytical problem-solving and aligning data architecture with organizational business goals and objectives
  • Exposure to analytics techniques using ML and AI to assist data scientists and analysts in deriving insights from data
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges and find optimal solutions
  • Ability to manage projects effectively, plan tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working in healthcare 
  • Experience working in B2C or FinTech
  • Previous working experience at startups

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.  

H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

An estimate of the current salary range for US-based employees is
$245,000$275,000 USD
