About the Role:
Hims & Hers is looking for an experienced Senior Business Affairs Manager to join our Creative Production team, reporting to our Director, Business Affairs. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our producers in the creation of content across the Hims & Hers business.
You Will:
- Review creative for any clearance or licensing issues and escalate to Hims & Hers counsel as necessary
- Prepare casting specs for all productions with talent
- Advise on all union (SAG-AFTRA, ACTRA, AFM, etc) rules and regulations
- Support leadership when procuring celebrity talent
- Process talent payments for sessions and usage
- Negotiate and license third party rights
- Conduct preliminary trademark searches
- Implement NDAs with production partners
- Prepare all contracts related to production including production agreements, SOWs, music licensing agreements, talent releases, and liaise with Hims & Hers counsel on redlines as necessary
- Complete wrap reports and track usage rights for all projects
- Additional duties as required
You Have:
- 7+ years of Business Affairs and/or Production experience, preferably in an agency or brand setting
- Thorough understanding of broadcast production
- Strong knowledge of copyright, trademark, and advertising law
- Expertise contracting talent and knowledge of SAG, AFTRA and AFM union contracts
- Experience managing multiple projects/productions at one time
- Familiar navigating common legal and clearance issues
- Working knowledge of contract management platforms like Ironclad
- Excellent communications skills, written and verbal
- Ability to negotiate with vendors and agents
- Problem-solving attitude
- Ability to remain calm during stressful situations while managing urgent deadlines
- BA/BS Degree preferred

The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location. H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that may include an equity grant.
