As a Sales Systems Lead You Can Expect to:

  • Optimize and maintain the Salesforce instance, ensuring efficient and effective use of the platform.
  • Manage and enhance the Zuora CPQ & subscription platform to support sales processes.
  • Oversee integrations within the Sales and Marketing tech stack, ensuring seamless communication between systems.
  • Design scalable systems to accommodate the growth and evolving needs of the business.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing systems and broader Revenue Operations.
  • Utilize Salesforce expertise to solve problems and address challenges in the go-to-market function.
  • Lead and manage projects related to Sales Systems, ensuring successful implementation and integration.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline technology and processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Marketing systems lead and contribute to the broader Revenue Operations team.
  • Actively seek new initiatives to improve technology, reduce friction, and minimize errors.
  • Play a key role in supporting go-to-market initiatives and ensuring technology meets business needs.

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:

  • ~ 6+ years of experience in Salesforce systems administration or development. Salesforce administration certification required; additional certification in architecture or development preferred.
  • Fluent in Salesforce flow and APEX programming language.
  • Experience of working with CPQ (Configure, Price and Quote) systems, preferably Zuora or Salesforce CPQ.
  • Proven ability to understand business processes and implement systems to enable them.
  • Collaborative; team-player that drives work forward.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Preference for candidates with an In-depth understanding of Go To Market operations processes in the software industry including:
  • Quote and order management
  • Sales process
  • Customer/renewal management
  • Contract management

About the Role

Vidyard is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR), located in the Eastern Time zone in Canada,to join our Sales Development team. Reporting to the Director, Emerging Sales and Business Development you will be the front line of our inbound lead generation efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for timely follow-up of our inbound leads from our website and other lead generation efforts. With these leads, you will be conducting high level qualification conversations to uncover new business opportunities for our sales team.

About the Team

Our Sales Development team consists of a diverse mix of individuals based in Canada. As the frontline of the sales organization’s pipeline generation efforts, the team works both collaboratively and independently to bring about qualified new business opportunities. Centered around a culture of accountability, resourcefulness, and tenacity, the Sales Development Representatives work closely with the Business Development Representatives and Account Executives.

What You’ll Work On

  • Respond to and qualify inbound web inquiries regarding Vidyard and Vidyard products to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives to uncover business needs related to Vidyard.
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through multiple channels and creative and personalized follow-up (via video, email, phone, social & chat).
  • Achieve monthly quota of sourced qualified opportunities and sourced closed business.
  • Create a great first impression with prospects and customers through unrivalled customer experience.

As an SDR You Can Expect to:

  • Undergo an extensive two week onboarding program to immerse yourself in the company, the role, and sales development fundamentals.
  • Be exposed to a high volume of various inbound channels that will afford you the opportunity to hone your skills as a salesperson.
  • Have daily interaction with your direct manager, teammates, or both, with a major focus on skill and career development.
  • Network with fellow SDRs as well as BDRs, AEs, and Sales leaders in our tight-knit and collaborative sales organization.
  • Have designated pathways forward that will help foster your career growth within our sales organization.
