We are seeking a seasoned Staff Data Scientist with a strong mathematical foundation to join Tanium’s AI team.   • Develop and execute National Partner Business Plans for Insight and Trace3.

As a Tanium Senior Software Engineer - Kubernetes Appliance, you will be tasked with building and maintaining best-of-breed products as part of a small and nimble development team. Tanium’s partner ecosystem plays an important role in helping our customers transform their IT operations using our paradigm-shifting technology. Going beyond transaction-focused product resale, our symbiotic relationships with consultancies and systems integrators drive customer satisfaction, new business, and expansion within existing customers. This role works within Tanium’s Global Strategic Alliances team to build, operationalize and expand the strategic alliances partnership with SI's like Accenture, PWC, Deloitte. It primarily involves partner-focused business development and requires the ability to think strategically while working with a wide variety of roles across Tanium and partner organizations.

What You'll Do:

  • Apply your business acumen and understanding of the technology landscape to grow partnerships within SI's that drive Tanium’s business objectives and profitable solutions and services for both Tanium and SI's.
  • Work with SI's business development and technical personnel, and Tanium Technical Account Managers, to craft mutually beneficial business models and solution offerings that drive new opportunities in the market.
  • Develop a sales and marketing plan around each solution offering to achieve revenue goals.
  • Collaborate and support Tanium and SI's International teams on solution development and best practices that can be brought to International Member firms.

Tanium is hiring a Remote Senior Analyst, Global Payroll

The Basics:

We are looking for a Senior Analyst, GlobalPayrollto join the Global Payroll team and lead the payroll process in Tanium’s international countries. Tanium currentlyoperatespayroll across 15 countries for 2,000+ employees and growing. The ideal candidate is experienced in Global Payroll Operations and has a passion for innovative payroll solutions. This position will foster relationships with senior internal stakeholders byestablishingand maintaining exceptional business relationships and working collaboratively with other organizational teams. The candidate is expected toparticipatein day-to-day payroll operations, support new and existing pay programs,work closely withpayroll processingpartners, and drive process standardization, automation, and improvement for payroll globally and ensure process efficiency. They will have a strong fundamental understanding of international payroll,equityand tax. 

What you’ll do:

  • Hands-on processing and serving as in-house SME of payroll and tax compliance for international payrolls in several EMEA/APAC countries.    
  • Review payroll output for accuracy, ensuring that all inputs have been correctly captured and processed.  
  • Equity transaction processing in EMEA countries. 
  • Reconcile annual payroll reports and statements with international partners in EMEA/APAC countries. 
  • Assist with month end close activities such as payroll journal entries and GL account reconciliations.  
  • Respond to employee inquiries and serve as liaison between employee and third-party providers; educate employees on how to use the payroll portal and SuccessFactors employee self-service tools; address issues that fall outside the scope of self-service and queries that arise around hourly time tracking and overtime. 
  • Work cross-functionally with departments such HR, Recruiting, IT, Legal and Accounting to facilitate and improve payroll processes, including benefits and withholdings (e.g., leave of absence, employee benefits, pension, health insurance, etc.). Ensure best practices are being followed to eliminate errors. 
  • Review payroll reporting and ensure accurate and timely filings with appropriate government authorities.  
  • Assist with payroll related audits.  
  • Provide ad-hoc support and services on special projects as needed.  

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of international payroll experience with EMEA and/or APAC is required.   
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of end-to-end payroll processing including companies with 1,000+ employees.  
  • Strong knowledge of equity issues and how they relate to payroll reporting and tax (RSU, NQ, ISO)
  • CPP is not required but preferred.  
  • Systems: PwC Global Payroll Platform, UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, NetSuite (or equivalent ERP) and Excel (pivot tables, lookups).
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax compliance globally and best practices.
  • Excellent management and organizational skills.
  • Technical skills: Thorough knowledge of payroll-related state, legal, tax, and compliance requirements.
  • Payroll accounting experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance and considerations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with all levels of the organization including executive team members.
  • A proactive, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, rapidly evolving, and data driven organization.
