Key duties of the role will include:

• Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disability and barriers to employment;
• Offer counselling intervention as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies;

• Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases;
• Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates; and
• Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology with eligibility registration with AHPRA.

• Knowledge of psychology assessment / intervention strategies;
• Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement;

This role is responsible for leading and planning the capture, validation & translation of requirements relating to the migration of several legacy case management systems to MedHealth’s medEbridge platform for the Rehab and Return to Work Division.

What You'll be Doing

• Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with business stakeholders to understand their data migration requirements. Identify the types of data be migrated, the relationships between different data sets, and any data transformations required. Ensure the completeness and coverage of requirements (functional, non-functional, technical and detailed data items)
• Data Mapping: Work with the technical team to create a mapping document that guides the migration process. The mapping document should include details about the source and target data structures, the mapping between the fields, and any transformation rules.
• Data Quality Assessment: Assess the quality of data in the source system, identifying any issues to be resolved before migration can occur.
• Data Validation: Design and execute test cases that validate the accuracy and completeness of the migrated data.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration.

Job Description

We are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team in Orange on a full-time or part-time basis! 

On a day-to-day basis you will be an integral part of the close-knit team of Kairros Consultants who work with and support people who have sustained a psychological or physical injury in the workplace. As a valued team member, you will have the responsibility of assessing needs and then providing effective solutions and strategies to ensure that Kairros clients receive a safe return to work within their same employer or with a new employer as part of their rehabilitation and recovery.

• A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence compulsory)
• Qualifications and relevant registration in Occupational Therapy
• A confident approach towards engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues and employees;
• An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with the many diverse cultural groups that make up the society in which we live and work
• Proven written and verbal communication skills
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
• A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time

We are looking to add more clinicians to our multi-disciplinary team by providing supports to NDIS participants.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner with the assistance of an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Assess participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of life
• Mentor graduates and early career clinicians
• Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to ensure compliance

Qualifications

To be considered suitable you will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
• Considerable experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
• Pro-active attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas
• Experience mentoring graduates and/or early career clinicians
• Genuine passion for working in the Disability sector
