Job Description

​​​​​​​We’re looking for a results-driven Sales Professional with excellent interpersonal skills to identify new sales opportunities and grow our existing customer base both through acquisition of new clients as well as organic growth with our current customer base within northern Ontario.

  • Present, promote and sell customs brokerage, consulting and freight forwarding services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reach out to prospective customers through cold calling.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Accurately track sales leads, opportunities, current customer interactions and competitor information through SugarCRM.
  • Complete RFP/RFQ requests for existing and potential clients.
  • Work in conjunction with parent company through mutual internal sales program to identify opportunities for both groups.
  • Travel within vast northern Ontario sales territory for customer facing meetings and tradeshows - overnight travel is required.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets on a quarterly & annual basis.
  • Continuous improvement through feedback and professional development.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of identifiable sales experience within the customs brokerage and global logistics markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or college degree or equivalent (preferred)
  • CCS/CTCS Designation through CSCB(preferred)
  • Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales - valid drivers license and reliable vehicle required. Mileage allowance/reimbursement provided.
  • Excellent selling, negotiation and communications skills.
  • Time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.
  • Familiarity with the Challenger Sales methodology.
  • Experience within ITMR4 brokerage software (preferred).
  • Aptitude with SugarCRM and Google platforms.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Job Description

The Breakdown coordinator would largely support the Quebec region and must be able the read, write and speak French. Their role ensures that the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded and prioritized within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational and Driver needs. The candidate is expected to be a team player in the maintenance department and able to communicate effectively with mechanics, drivers, outside vendors and the operations department.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Provide assistance to Drivers when a breakdown occurs
  • Work order entry
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Utilizing reports to identify incorrect or problem data using established guidelines
  • Communicating exceptions, initiating corrective action, and reporting and evaluating the action effects. 
  • Work with third parties and in-house shops to ensure the equipment gets to required shop
  • Revieve and process third party invoices

 

 

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Fully bilingual in French
  • Experience in a maintenance administrative/coordination role
  • Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping ability
  • Strong attention to detail
