Field Technical Support Specialist will provide first level support to our clients and dealers and second level support to our Field Technicians located within North America. The ideal candidate has extensive field experience in the installation and commissioning of EAS & RFID systems. The candidate must be customer-centric and measure success by both positive results and the positive impression that they leave the customer with. The candidate will be working from the Global Retail office and reporting directly to the Service Manager and shall be capable of working with minimal direction.
Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in commercial installation and service of IP video, analog video, access control and intrusion detection systems.
2. Strong knowledge and troubleshooting experience with Access Control and CCTV systems
3. Familiarity or certification in Lenel, Milestone, Genetec Access/Video, Cloud-based Access/Video products.
4. Understanding of structured cabling basics and troubleshooting.
5. Understanding of electrified locks and troubleshooting.
6. Strong knowledge of IP and networking concepts.
7. Valid state driver’s license without restrictions
8. Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (drug, background, and driving history).
9. Up to 50+% travel, as necessary which may include air travel.
10. Effective communication skills.
11. Local Low Voltage Licensing is a plus.

Sales Planning
Assist in building an annual territory Business Plan

Plan and conduct sales calls utilizing the calendar tool. Plan each sales week accordingly for optimum results.

Effectively prepare for Regional Manager and factory personnel visits.
