We are searching for a Staff Accountantto join our team. The ideal candidate should be organized, accurate, and results oriented, as well as provide a high level of service to business partners by responding timely to requests.

This role may either be based out of Scottsdale, AZ or remote (willing to work AZ hours).

Essential Functions:

  • Perform monthly close procedures including intercompany journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly consolidation journal entries and eliminations
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and implementations related to intercompany and consolidations
  • Assist with administration of the consolidation system, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
  • Assist with facilitation of the month-end close process
  • Interact and coordinate with personnel in various functional and business areas to support transactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • CPA license is a plus
  • 3+ years of general accounting experience required
  • Public accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a multi-national organization transacting in multiple currencies
  • Experience using HFM and SAP is a plus
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to proficiently and expediently sort, navigate and analyze data
  • Inquisitive in nature and a desire to learn
  • Must be results oriented with a desire and ability to take initiative and ownership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Work closely with the merchandising and marketing teams to plan, manage and execute content calendars for homepages, product category focuses, new launches, inventory availability and marketing initiatives.
  • Manage outlining and briefing content plans into the marketing and creative teams, for all content needs across new product launches, promotions, and DTC commercial activations.
  • Partner with the merchandising team, plan and execute curated category landing pages to support DTC commercial moments, new product launches and guided-selling journeys.
  • Maintain site Category and URL redirects, ensuring accurate and timely execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to enhance Fender's content strategy.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze content performance utilizing data and share with the broader ecommerce team to help generate and drive future content decisions and strategies.
  • Collaborate with User Experience teams on development and enrichment of content and customer journey.
  • Assesses the competitive landscape by examining content strategies of key competitors and best-in-class online retailers to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the online category strategy based on customer and competitor insights.
  • Continually seeks to improve the online experience by researching and staying abreast of new and innovative online solutions and capabilities; key competitor actions; industry trends and emerging customer and market needs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or related field.
  • 3-5 years eCommerce content and/or merchandising experience, ideally in a direct-to-consumer environment
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud Page Designer experience.
  • Shopify platform experience is strongly preferred.

We are searching for a Director, North America Distribution and Fulfillment who will have accountability for the overall performance of the FMIC North America fulfillment network, including two facilities managed by 3PLs, as well as cross-border (import/export) movement. This role is accountable for evaluating the supporting metrics that drive continuous improvement, performing layered process audits and approving the Third-Party permanent corrective actions that will ensure contractual and operational targets for quality, inventory integrity, delivery, and cost are met. This person will be the single point of contact/liaison to coordinate all activities between the Third-Party and FMIC functional areas, and must proactively communicate issues and the corrective actions to the affected functions.

Essential Functions:

  • Own collaboration and strategy with cross functional stakeholders: America’s sales, operations, technology and finance teams. 
  • Deliver strategy driving supply chain process, technology and people management to create optimization for FMIC and our customers.
  • Embody exemplary leadership that enables career development within FMIC as well as championing our 3PL’s people development objectives.
  • Ensure FMIC inventory and capital investments are protected while collaborating with the Third-Party in the development and implementation of systems and processes to ensure volume-adjusted budget objectives are met. 
  • Collaborate with the service provider in the development and implementation of systems and processes that ensure a high degree of inventory integrity by confirming inventory best practices (i.e. cycle counting, non-conforming material processing, and inbound supplier and outbound delivery audits) are in place.
  • Ensure the contractual levels of inventory accuracy are achieved and sustained while also leading formal reviews of the Inventory KPIs with the Third Party that establishes and confirms their accountability.
  • Maintain FTZ operational compliance and requirements in one of our two facilities.
  • Develop relationship and lead discussions between the transportation team and the Third-Party to guarantee that both inbound and outbound operational commitments are met. 
  • Assist in the resolution of transportation issues as required and lead formal reviews of the Delivery and Transportation KPIs with the Third-Party that confirms that the accountability of the Third-Party is understood.
  • Enable excellent customer service for direct to customer as well as business to business fulfillment.
  • Help create, define, and roll out the long-term network roadmap, footprint and IT needs for North America.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications  

  • 7 -10 years experience in the areas of Third-Party Management in Distribution Operations, Warehouse Operations, Materials Operations, Inventory Control
  • Proficiency in estimating and managing P&L/Expense Budgets
  • Six Sigma or comparatively strong continuous improvement and optimization experience desired.
  • Skills should include leadership, planning, financial analysis, negotiations, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong capability with not only managing Third-Party relationships but also acting as a vital partner and influencer within FMIC
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent is required.
